+1 .. I mean.. If some1 mentions that some other player should earn it.. I think its pretty remarkable and JQ certainly deserves it

I am from Croatia and everybody laught to me when I said to them that I am learning to play poker, they think that if you want to play poker you have to had lot of luck and that is it.... when I said to that I have spend whole day to learn and pass begginers quiz they laught to me... but never mind... I was happy because I learn something new... and if I don't get this prize it is ok for me, I know I don't deserve it, and I don't know what I can do with that prize because I registered two days ago.... but if I win it I know that I can see better tactics and odds charts and i can learn something new in no time :)))

I don't believe in luck because I don't have much and everything I have I earned and learned on my own...

Luck is when you make mistake and opponent don't punish you for that.

Imagine me doing my bear dance with a Pokerstrategy.com ad on my costume. Will do it in case I win the diamond.

Because yesterday I played a $9.90 tournament on pokerstars with just over 1k players. The final table only gets paid though. Payouts started at $380 and first place got paid $2100. UNFORTUNATELY I finished in 11th. You should feel pity on me and give me the diamond status so I can learn not to suck so badly at push or fold.

I was thinking over and over again to write something to impress you but finally i'm going to tell you what i think diamond member will change on me.
If i could win the diamond member i'm sure i will never lose my entire bankroll witch happened i think 10 times in a row because i cant control myself when im on tilt
Maybe this status of diamond member will motivate me and i can get the best of me.

Why should I get the diamond status?
Because I'm an MTT SnG player and it's damn hard to grind enough points every month to make it to diamond ♦ Right now this is the only way for me to get it ♠_cool:

I have 44+ reasons....The 27 gold and 8 platinum articles in No-Limit, the 7 Gold and 1 Platinum article in SnG, the No Limit HU Strategy Forum that I currently do not have access to. I would love to PDF every one of those articles and read a millions times since I like to know advanced ideas to better understand the reasoning behind the basic ideas. To be able to just read through the HU forum is a plus for any poker player since there HU situation in every part of poker...

I am a spounge on a time and money budget at the moment....so gaining access to Diamond status would allow a brief period of soaking it all up.

I would like to have diamond status because:

1) My fav mtt site "PokerStars" is not linked and it is very hard for me to get past bronze status.

2) I have been a some what active member here at pokerstrategy since I joined even though I don't have access to the higher limit articles etc...

3) I play satellites and I will play big tourneys like the sunday mill with low initial bi (0.50-11.70$ satellites) and I want to watch the MTT and SnG videos and read the articles to help my game when playing these higher stake events.

4) I miss watching TC's video's they have helped my game in the past also I am interested to see Mr. Little's Mtt videos.

5) I think PokerStrategy rules and I'll be an active member for ever even though I know I have no hope of being a diamond/BlackMember etc..

Why I should become a Diamond Member:

Reason #1: I have mad Jedi poker skillz

NL25:

BB: $35.83
UTG: $24.20
Hero (CO): $26.65
BTN: $19.35
SB: $51.12

Pre Flop: ($0.40) Hero is CO with Q Q
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.25, 2 folds, BB calls $1, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.90) T T A (2 players)
BB folds

While this amazing ability has allowed me to run above EV for 25K hands, for some reason it only works once in a while and some actual ability might come in handy

Reason #2: When I sort my hands in PT3 by BB/Hand, I get KK followed by AA followed by 73s:

I'm pretty sure there will be some sort of article in the diamond section explaining how to win with hands other than 73s, and why you should not expect a big payout when dealt 73s. Either that or I'll finally learn that the true secret to crushing NL Holdem is to play 73s as aggressively as possible since it has a 100% won $ when saw showdown value.

Reason #3: I'm a full time student taking 6 upper level math and physics courses per term in a combined math/physics honours program and commute for 2.5h per day, so I REALLY don't have the time to grind out enough points to get to diamond. However, I find the articles and videos very helpful and would definitely make use of them.

Reason #4: I don't have tits, but I don't wanna miss out when the judge comes home drunk tomorrow night:

Reason #5: I have noticed a strong correlation between being a diamond member and being good at poker. For some strange reason it seems as though the diamond members seem to say NL50 and NL100 are very soft and play higher limits, while many silver and gold members are playing lower limits. As I just moved up to NL50 I would be immensely grateful to be given diamond status so that I find it easy.

In conclusion,

I would like to get the diamond status because it's Christmas spirit these days, and it would be a perfect gift from "Santa PokerStrategy" for me, also, would motivate and help me to improve my skills with the benefits of being a DIAMOND strategyst.

I can think of a few good reasons why it would greatly benefit me, and maybe why I deserve it.
:over $15,000 winings first year with PS.
: did not take out vhallee w/ 72o in battle of donkeys(could have once).
: sit&go,mtt articles and videos may be the missing link.
:play almost everyday
:wsop10, is in july not much time left.lol

since joining PS my friends stopped playing live poker with me(because I keep wining),diamond knowledge may give me the confidence to bring it to the casino.

Asking for diamond status so you can benifit from extra articles and videos, come on.

If you ask me pokerstrategy shouldn't worry about giving out diamond status' to some members but should instead donate some money to the foundations looking after kids that can't enjoy a christmas with a roast turkey/chicken/whatever you eat.

Just my 2 cents though. Congratulations to whoever gets this.

Funny I noticed that there aren't any today, crazy! Hope you make it.

Anyway, my reasons...none of which are great lol.

1. I have been fairly active in the community since joining a few months ago
2. I just cashed in another FT Freeroll and want to get better, lost KK v 22, big stack hit 2 on river of course lol. Hopefully another cash in the 1k Round 2 later today.
3. Just found out this week I am going to have a whole bunch of free time on my hands for a while. Don't ask, its depressing.
4. I've got something coming for PS hopefully by the end of the week, but it's coming either way.
