i think you did right, he checked, so either he slowplays or have weak hand.


I would probably prefer checking the turn back to him and then folding to a raise on the river and just checking. personal preference really i don't think raising on the turn is wrong it's just risky.

Hey Gregor86,

preflop and flop are standard.

On the turn I like the second barrel and the reason is protection and free showdown, so I bet turn with intention of checking the river behind. And since our plan isn't to go broke, our hand isn't super strong and 2/3 of the potsize is enough to protect I just bet 1$ on the turn and check river behind.
