I've noticed that the online companies have made a very good deal in letting people deposit instantly, but holding the cashouts easilly for a week or even more.
It makes sence that they want to make sure that everything is okay when they ship out the money but nonetheless it reminds me of that scene in "Casino" where they stall the big gambler so long that he starts to play and loses his winnings.
I hear you, I am currently having cashout problems with a site and it is highly frustrating.
In my opinion sites should start asking for the information they need up front when you make a desposit. I'm sure there are certain people for whom the money is not an issue that just give up trying to withdraw letting the site keep their winnings. I think this is also the very reason why some sites will never change. Sure, it's all within the law, but it reeks of dishonesty if you ask me. The sites know they can increase their intake a little by making things difficult for honest players.

I had good experience so far. When I deposited, it was instant, and when requested cashout, got my money in few hours.
Ofc, one of first things I do is verify my account with ID scan.

That's actually one thing I dont get. Is it the law that they have to get the scanned documents, a copy of the credit card etc, or where does that come from?
It's usualy a little bit faster if you use neteller/moneybookers, but a 2-3 day wait is not such a bad thing imo... adds to security 
Ofcourse because they will gladly take your money and but when you want to withdraw they lose money so they make it a pain in the ass so you dont withdraw too often. Having said that it depends what cardroom your on. Stars is great and they are almost instant whilst Party and Titan are lame and require pending approval etc etc.
The reason is that deposited money is covered by insurance. ie. if it is stolen the poker sites do not lose out.
However, if the money is withdrawn and it is found to be stolen the site, no-one else, is responsible and has to take the loss, and they leave themselves open to allegations of money laundering etc....

Yeah I figured that this must be the reason. But I think that it also adds to their business, when I started in poker I was always like:
"I'm gonna play to $200 and cash out"
When I got there the cash out jsut took ages so I reversed it:
"I'll just play a little more..."
You know what I mean? 
no i dont know what you mean...this thread i think it s full of fakes.....how can you play a little more if you withdraw then you ll have no money in the account even if it will be given to you in 3 or 4 days or so, so enlighten me how can you play if you cash your br out? I didnt have any problems with stars cashing out...simple..they asked for my ID verification 2-3 hours then ship it to my bank ! and as Viewer said its way faster to use site like paypal or mb...
But i had troubles, big troubles cashing out from a casino ...online casino, wont say the name .. well my dad can beat roullte ..and we had about 1300$ from 100$ playing the 0.10$ then moving up every weeck... and when i wanted to cashout they said that my country is illegal to play in their casino...and it wasnt when i deposited they just checked the list! ... what the fck is that ?! so never deposit into a casino anymore...

I think, but I could be wrong, that the guy means while the withdrawal is pending.
If you have not had your ID verified Mansion states you can reverse the withdrawal request pending their ID verification process. Call me a suspicious person if you like but from my experience, there is always a problem (documents not acceptably ledgible blah blah)..Personally I DO think it is a ploy to keep you playing...but I stress that is just MY opinion
just get neteller and the E-Card. I cash out at least once, maybe twice a week and usualyl its in my netteller account within the hour from fulltilt, then i just got to the cash machine at take it out, no hassle at all.
Occassionaly I might have to wait a few hours and once it took 24 hours but mostly its within the hour. 2/3 hours max
Use moneybooker much better and have good repore with online poker sites and PS. PS even has its own moneybooker thread in this forum for any inquiries such as yourself. Cheers.

This is incorrect as there is a betting cap (Most you are aloud to bet in one go)
They design real casinos easy to get into but a maze to get out, with lots of lights and sounds to attract you attention. By doing this it keeps the people there and encourages them to play more before leaving. Same with online gaming sites, if they have a casino then they will probally not want to give easy cashouts giving you more time to play the casino games, where´s Pokerstars as an example have no casino and offer automatic cashouts. This is a common strategy in the retail business too, why do you think they always put the milk at the back of the grocery store?

hmm, but would you even really want to beat a roulette if you had infinite pounds?
oh, and as for it being beatable part, there already was a discussion about it in one of blackmagnet's famous threads... and if i remember right the way to beat the roulette is if you calculate the speed of the ball, spins, etc. then you can determine the interval it will land on and therefore somehow "improve your odds" :).
