$0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

Known players:

MP2 = ($11.64)
MP3 = ($24.75)
CO = ($27.15)
BU(Hero) = ($10.23)
SB = ($30.61)
BB = ($17.09)
MP1 = ($4.53)

Preflop: Hero is BU with 6, 6.
MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, SB calls $0.65, BB folds, MP2 calls $0.50.

Flop: ($2.5) 4d, 6c, 8s (3 players)

SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB raises to $7.00,

Call, all in or fold?

Not interesting? How about this?

Flop: ($25) 4d, 6c, 8s (3 players)
SB checks, MP2 checks, Hero bets $15, SB raises to $70,

reraise all in imo, he certainly doesnt have 57(unless hes really loose). I think he might have AA/JJ. If i get beat by set of 8, then so be it. Also i dont understand his check and then reraising you, it certainly looks like bluff.

I don't think a grinder ever folded a set for 1 buyin 6 handed as pfr. At least I would never ever.

Easy shove in my opinion. Only 88 and 57 beats you, you have everything else beat.

I am never folding 2nd set - not the way villan played there that is for sure - easy shove IMHO.

I put him on overs 99+, KQo+ at best. It looks like he is trying to buy the pot.

TQ for the reply.

Actually, it was a full ring table but i didnt notice 2 players quited the table during that round.

>.< wish people would actualy post hands worth reviewing..

Firstly weak raise PF, blinds + 1 limper and you only raise to 3bb? Before going any further go read some dam articles! lol...serriously. That aside....

Im never folding 66 here if they have 888 im paying them off. If they have straight i can still make boat. What happens when they have an over pair? You'll win alot more from over pairs than you'll lose to 888 or the straight. Also its just as likley they have bottom set as top set...so that cancles each out...If you not going to shove here what are you going to shove with?

I know i should raise $1.25 (4x BB and + limper), the only problem is, other players tend to fold when i raise 4x BB + limp, end up winning the blinds only over 2 hours is not fun.

So, i relax a bit about the rule of raising.

And winning the blinds only is a bad thing with 66?

Always play the same...then you carnt be read based on the size of your betting. Short term you will have spells when you dont get action...thats poker...but 66 isnt a hand where you want lots of action...if you do well quite frankley your fckd! if you hit a set then you want action. 66 is more a stealing hand than an action hand.

lol at even considering folding a set 41bb deep
lol at even considering folding a set when somehow the pot has 220bb when facing the raise

I would push here too, unfortunately for me villain would have 75s. You know, because its suited they played it.

Yes I'm grumpy from a session today.

I'd fold this flop just in case you get check-raised, don't bother seeing a turn card it will only make your decision more difficult. No point in playing for a large pot with only a set.

lol at gun
