not sure if it was a good fold here

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♣, K♦. Hero posts a blind of $0.05. UTG posts a blind of $0.10.
3 folds, MP3 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $0.45, UTG (poster) calls $0.40, MP3 calls $0.40.

Flop: ($1.50) 4♥, 5♣, 3♠ (4 players)
Hero bets $1, UTG raises to $2, MP3 folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $4.50

Raise a bit more preflop!
0,50$ because of the limper and since we are out of position here(SB) we want to make the pot big preflop already to simplify all Postlfop decisions, so I would recommend betting between 0,55$ and 0,60$.
On the flop against that many opponents a Continuationbet really makes no sense. With 1$ you should win the pot here in like 40% which is almost never given with this flop.(Any pair will call you)

So just playing check/fold is the right play on the flop.

You don't really have 12 outs, maximum would be 10 outs (3 kings,3 Aces, 4 deuces).

Problem here simply is, with 10 outs you are an underdog to win the hand and as you can be pretty sure to be up against a pair here, which is going to call you, you lose value in the long run.
Against 1 or 2 opponents you can make a Continuationbet here, but against 3 it's just too likely that you are beat.
