**** ** *Alright, watched some more psychology vids and some more of it is setting in and I'll start on the HU on a regular schedule tomorrow. Basically, I've been frustrated at bad players lucking out a lot lately. I just need to get back into the mindset of welcoming them to the table and exploiting their errors. Sure they'll get lucky a few times and other times they'll get lucky in bunches but that's just the way the game is. Here's a few notes I've written down and look at when I feel some tilt coming on:
1. Improve posture
2. Take deep breath.
3. Focus on playing well.
4. Take a deep breath.
- The mistakes bad players make benefit me in the long run.
- Keep track of their mistakes and exploit them.
- Sometimes they will get lucky with their mistakes. This cannot be changed.
- These mistakes will benefit me in the long run.
- Good players are usually ahead and therefore get sucked out on more often.
- Without the fish winning sometimes, there would not be much of a game.
- In the long run, good things will happen.
It took several weeks to get off track this much and it will probably take some time to get back on. There's 12 days left in the month and that's enough to get another 100 games in. I was shooting for 200+ for the month but for now I'll just shoot for 150+. 
I'm running decent lately but honestly, my psychology is still a little ummm... askew shall I say. Here's garph.
The swing at the beginning was close to double what I've seen before but since then I'm running alright, it just doesn't feel that way atm. I went a tilt crazy a few games ago and played the same bad player 4 times in a row mainly because I lost the first two. I played bad in the next two and won but the results in this case do not matter - tilting hard and continuing to play is the concern. So, I'm just going to drop down to the $10's for 15 games (about 2 days) and reevaluate at that point whether I'm back on an even keel and move back to the $20's and beyond again.
Alright, played 10 at the $10's and played well (and won all of 'em) so I'm going to skip the 5 more and just head to the $20's and beyond again. Ran into a few tough situations but just continued to play solid things turned out alright. That's exactly what I need to more of no matter what the situation, just continuing to play my hands solid throughout the match. ♠_cool:
Alright, here's last months garph.
Overall, a good month... not the best, but good. I played through some variance, learned something about poker psychology and tilt, and got in the number of games I wanted to during the last 1.5wks or so. 
But as usual, things are not always Wow! Fantastic! during my blog posts. Latest situation is I had 39 buy-ins for the $30's so I took at shot at those since I was running hot and on a 9 game win streak. I figured I would commit to 3 buy-ins and if things go up and up then of course I would stick to that limit - if I lose 3 buy-ins then I can re-evaluate. Well I played six games before I lost the 3rd buy-in to some dude who admitted he was drunk and usually plays 6max. Of course he bluffed/re-bluffed too much, liked to cap with anything preflop, and fire 3 barrels with any two basically. These players are fairly easy to play because they are predictable - you can just consider what your hand equity is against what is almost a random hand at the flop and continue from there. What you don't want is to be card dead and on your last buy-in of your shot at a higher limit against one of them, very tilt inducing. Ahhh, pokers... 
Well, I've evaluated things a bit and here's the two major points that stick out - I was waiting much longer in between games at the $30's and the opponents actually are a bit tougher. With those two points in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if a slightly lower ROI and a lower games per hour would make playing at the $30's not much better than playing at the $20's, if at all. So for now, I'll just play the $20's and take another shot later at the $30's later - that later could be tomorrow if I'm feeling focused again. 
My bankroll sheet says I've cashed out $2462 and have $1149 online at the moment so in total I'm +$3611 playing pokers, and this is after accounting for the roulette losses. However, it does not include the $100 TAF bonus I got a month or so ago that was deposited by PS to iPoker. Guess where that went? Yeah, the roulette wheel. hehea! That thing is evil.. stay away from itpeoples... one spin is never enough...

* I played some at Stars (not on graph) and ran good there the last couple days and up $63. Break-even at FT again. ♠_frown:
So I was running alright at 62% ITM in the HU's for 866 games but am now running at 51% for the 162 at the $20's on FT. Very discouraging. At least I managed to play more games while in a downswing phase so that's progress I suppose. The cards just fall in my opponents favor since the new year. I've only had two bad downswings and they're in that graph and came in the new year. I'm ready to move the portion of bankroll on that site off of it and just go somewhere else. The sng's at Stars take twice as long then at FT and UB just stinks and their structure moves too fast after the first few levels anyways. iPoker has the side casinos so that's a big no. Cake is a good option since I haven't played there at all. It's worth a try I guess. It's a rakeback site so it's not like I'm wasting a bonus if I choose not to play much there in the short-term. Now playing more at FT doesn't appeal to me atm.
Ahh teh hell with it. I got $1054 online and $480 at FT. I'm just going to go with the 25 buy-in min. rule and go from there. It's been brutal lately but thinking with a clear head I'm over the feeling that they flipped some sort of doomswitch on me. If I dip below $400 on FT then I'll find something better to do with my spare time and keep the rest for another day.

I got 2nd best hands until the end as usual. What a joke. I feel I'm just throwing money down the toilet at this point. Notice I got my money in good the whole way and only called the river donk like a decent player does. It's not enough...
The I can do atm to find out what the variance is in these games is t compare them to coin flips. Taking last years sample vs. this years sample, if these games were comparable to biased coins, the chances of the two coins being the same are less than 1%.
It looks like I run the worst against the worst players on the site and this result doesn't help much. U can look up xsolutionx at FT on PTR if u want. This guy loses at a higher rate than the rake accumulates over a big sample size.
In 19 hands:
- Lost to a Q high no draw on a paired turned trips board. (not bad, really)
- Lost to a donked top pair KQ when I called down with 2nd pair good kicker. (Again, not bad)
- Lost to a set of 4's made on the turn after I fast played top pair.
- Lost to a donk bet flopped straight with 24o as hole cards. Again just call down with a pair.
- Lost to a flopped straight with 69o hole cards against my TPTK.
- Lost to a straight flush vs. my A high flush.
That's the actual order in which the hands happened. I said the hell with it after the last hand. I did have a pair hold up twice though. These hands happened in my 2nd session playing HU cash - rakeback and a bonus to clear was the incentive to play some 1/2 for a change. The first session went alright and I won it but the opponent was a decent player.
I cashed out of FT after the last post and re-deposited 5 days later. I won 6 in a row but after that same as usual. Getting a nice run after redepositing for the 2nd time only for it to turn completely backwards for an even longer period doesn't exactly help things though. It didn't feel too bad until I played those last 19 hands. Now I cashed out again and looking for a different site to play at. Anyways, I've seen enough and it's really gotten in my head so I'm staying away from FT and that account for a quite a while this time.

But I'm actually up $103 since I last reported my bankroll 9 days ago. But that's from some sng's and a tourney at Stars and sure as fuck not from FT! ♠_evil:
Yeah, the combination of factors mentioned in the above posts have just been too much so I'll leave FT for now... I said enough is enough 2 times already but this time it really is.
The bankroll is sitting at Stars right now, but the next site I make my main site will probably be on the Cake network. I signed for Cake more than a year ago before PS became an affiliate. I never deposited on the account so hopefully I'll just be able to sign up through the links here and be good to go. If not then no strat points I guess. Alright, off I go sign up Cake through PS!
I signed up for Cake through PS but after reading some posts about being banned from the entire Cake network for unknown reasons I shipped an e-mail to Cake support to make see if I could open an account through PS, since I opened one up b4 PS was an affiliate but I never used that one. Well, of course I have to use the other account. The other one has 33% rakeback anyways so I just lose PS points. I always used iPoker sites for PS points but as long as they cannot put a block on the side casino I'm staying clear.
I started playing $1/2 6max at Stars and so far so good. I took a look at Cake and I didn't think there was enough tables going and the tables looked pretty tight at times at the FL games so I scrapped that idea.

I'll work towards Gold star for this month and try to get in 15k hands. As long as I'm running at a decent rate I might as well put in more hours and go for platinum.
Barely squeaked in with gold status at Stars to finish the month. I didn't get to play much because it was exam time the last few weeks but I managed to get 10k hands in for the month. This next month I should really work towards platinum.
Been running hot almost all month! Just a week in there where things were not fantastic.
Wow! Almost $1k at 1/2 is really special! Damn, lots of FL players had nice winnings in April 
Yes, real nice 10k hands. There was a week in there where I had a 100 BB downturn. I'm down 110 BB atm so I really got to keep that in mind and keep going steady eddie. Another 10k at 4BB/100 would be nice of course but 2BB/100 will still be a great result these next 10k hands.
Alright, enough is enough. I'm just going to not play another hand since I just lose them anyways. I'm cashed out of Stars. New graph since my last one...
