Thanks i saw them /i forget i had removed the super turbos from the filter ♦/. I try 1 of them and won it haha, but i had the feeling i'm playing roulette not poker
P.S. : Btw can some1 give me some video of these played by some good player? I saw 1 on youtube but it was 5 hands to win it ♦ (AA,99, etc.).
ok so its been awhile since I updated. I have made a $350 recently and had a $400 downswing. Decreased my volume considerably. Mainly trying to hit the gym more.
Anyway to add some spice back into my game I am going to attempt a $100 to $1000 challenge ($900 profit) within a week just playing ST's as low as $1.70. To make it a little harder rakeback will not be included as a profit figure.
Challenge will start tomorrow 24/02/2010 at 12.00am GMT/ 7.00am ET and finish 02/03/2010 at 12.00am, GMT.
I will offer $100 action against me. With 3-1 odds in my favour. If anyone is interested. I am not that interested in the side bet, more the challenge.
BRM throughout will be fairly aggressive 50BI's with an appropriate stop limit. I will only play 6 max super turbos throughout the week.
wish me luck ♦.
even though it seems like a difficult challenge for you sir i dont like my chances
GL HF ♦ keep us posted how it goes
Why are you doing this challenge? You go semi-pro then drop limits as low as the $1.70s? I don't quite get it, but gl...
if u were allowed to play only $1.70 SNGs i would probably bet, but if u intend to move up every 50buyins for the next level, then i wont as i dont like my chances that much ♦
dam sorry guys I am guna have to pospone this challenge cus I might be going away this weekend
GL with the challenge, whenever you start it. I'm really interested if you can achieve that 900$ profit in a week
. Btw, how many tables do you plan to play?
Hi,
awesome blog, seems like you've found your niche in the game ♠_cool:
Just wondering how many tables you play at a time in general at these stt's??
keep up the good work
I got inspired by this and tried myself, had a bankroll of 50 when i started, now I'm up to 90. My question is about BRM; how many BI's do you have for each level? I don't think I will be going from the 1.50(+0.20) to the 3.50(+0.30) yet.
There might be some variance in this so how many BI's do you think is safe?
I would take a shot moving up at about $100 if I were you, I mean you can always drop back down again, plus the rake at $1 is insane!
but what do I know

Seriously do not do this!!!!
You are massively under rolled even for the $1.50's
A safeish bank for super turbos is 200 buyins.
If you think 50 or 100 is ok then kiss goodbye to your money
ok quite a few questions out there.
How many tables do I play?
3/7$ limit I played 8 continiuosly. I could normally play 30-40 an hour doin this. Since playing 15/30$ limits I prefer 4-6 tabling either in sets or continuosly. Really depends on how I feel. Either way I feel is equally profitable. More concerntration higher ROI. More tables more rake. If i feel really focused I will 8 table. When starting out I 4 tabled.
150+BI rule is something you should impose $3+. I am a fan of taking shots to get out of the $1 games because of there rake. HOWEVER please have a descent sample of $1 games to know you are actually beating the game. I don't advise beginners player super turbos with there starting $50 rolls either. I think it is important to learn the fundaments of normal SNG strategy and beat them before attempting ST. Though ST's seem alot more simplistic having no background knowledge can be detrimental to your overall game. I myself played SNG turbos successfully for many years and its with this expereince I devised my own strategy for the super turbos, mainly ICM but there are defently exploitable spots that come through expereince.
Great progress richard,
I too endorse what richard & lennonac say about BRM, variance on sngs can be massive on occasions so stay safe folks, the bigger brm the better and ensure you have some good consistent sample size & BR before moving up.
Great blog, keep it going richard
Best regards,
Bart
I found out the variance was sick last night on these
first i get 9 in a row where I cash, where 6 of them was 1st. Then later I got a sick streak of 13 in a row where I didn't. That's variance!!! Was running very bad, however, I still played my A-game where I was in front in most but got sucked out. Also so many 3rd places where the lowstack manage to get sick 2-3 outers on the river to double up, where I get blinded out carddead.
What's your biggest losing and winning-streak?

yup them swongs are very common. You need an iron stomach to handle sum of the shiz
I am going away this weekend and will start heavy grinding at the start of march.
Okey, "good" to see I'm not the only one running like shit:p However, I think there are much value as there is lots of bad opponents and their fairly easy to win.
Which means, I'm gonna give it another try as soon as I feel like playing.
