Yea I know, I play them because of double points (which I use for token SnGs), rakeback is nice however because of the fast Rush poker. Regretably PLO Rush is unplayable because it's just too much variance playing without stats/reads/always vs different opponent in different position. I did not like it, NLHE is easier in Rush.
i dont know how you handle this variance
but i give you props because i feel demoralized after losing 9 stacks.

Thanks for input, guys.
Still overwhelmed by studies/bad luck.
Just dont know how to deal with it. Yesterday busted 10/93 in $11 HA MTT, 9 get paid. Earlier busted in 5/25 for big MTT satellite (4 get ticket), more busts close to the bubble, sick suckouts etc etc. Today found some time so decided to play PLO SH CG. It went sick bad. Lost 3+BI, missed all flops, missed all draws etc. It's just sick and so demotivating, no idea what to do. Watch videos, review hands - does not help run better.
Today was awful and I said to myself "this will be last hand and I'm outta here". Check out how it went:

Hi,
from my own experience I would recommend for you to play or learn something new to play some time. Maybe PLO8 cash or PLO8 sngs(High ROI is achievable) or maybe FL(variance is also sick). Splitpot games have low variance and most players in them are crappy. When ever I start to have a long bad run in poker I just change scenery to mix it up and thus far it has helped.
Edit: Ouch, what a hand
Yea I know, i've been trying all different kind of things, NLHE Rush, PLO HU SnG, tons of Mtts, etc. Nothing works
PLO8 has almost no traffic, so not sure.
Anyway, played some today:

Was up 5BI yay, but then - hello downswing, nothing holds, villains hit like idiots with crap etc. Not much to say, I don't remember the last time I won money in PLO.
Withdrawing more and more lately, seems poker carreer coming to an end. Well, it was fun while it lasted ![]()
Heh, maybe I can win satellite to today's FTOPs to PLO8, then ship it? Yea, right ![]()

How many 100k hands have you played so far?
I reckon your results start to even out at probably 200k+ for such a swingy game.

Haven't updated for quite a while, so here goes:
Won super satellite, then satellite to FTOPS #2. It was PLO8 SuperStack KO with a field of ~1300. Managed to bust in the first hour vs a passive station. Happens ![]()
Today played satellite to another FTOPS event - PLO $100+$9 rebuy. Busted in 4th, first 2 get tickets ![]()

I usually check/fold on flop but opponent was loose aggressive and using his position, so I figured gutshot and two backdoor flushdraws have some nice implieds. Gin card on turn, and I decide to annoy him my making a fish play and check/raising stupid amount. I figured calling will make him check behind most rivers and probably fold to big river bets. Raising big will definately tell him I have nut straight. But since I had it + nut flush draw, I could credibly do stupid thing ^^ He is a thinking player = thinks I can't raise that small with nuts, because I have to protect against flush/better straight draws, so he just ships it almost drawing dead ^^

Kadziing, nuts on flop, it goes bet and a call. Turn is somewhat ugly, but since I have two nice blockers for the nuts, I check with the intention to let him bet and then raise him, hoping he figures he's commited and cant fold his crap. Not too worried about running flush, if it happens - it happens. So I check and he insta pots = super strong. I vomit on keyboard, want to fold very much, but then decide to go with the hand (raised because if I call turn, I have to call river, and villain did not have much left behind) and see that seven in his hand. Turns out he had air on flop, bottom set on turn = well played, sir ![]()

Had a super fun weekend. Went to my friend's wedding, was their official driver
It was super cold in the church, even Jesus was shivering (omg blasphemy!). All went well, until after the wedding I was halted by police. "Have you been drinking today, sir?" "Ummm, depends what you call "drinking"
. Anyway, had to do a drunk test (you have to blow air to some apparattus ^^). Turned out I haven't drank enough to get penalty. Sweet.
Next day went to country tourism, was very slippery, so I accidentaly destroyed part of the wooden bridge with my car. Then decided to try countryside skis on hills. Managed to break two skis
Fun times.
Also I've passed uber tough exam, two more to go.
Two lols: one at monkey, and one at two-legged horse ![]()
Last two days results from PLO25 Rush:

Won ticket to $150 BI 60Kgtd event (36 entered, two get ticket) yesterday, busted early.
Played several hands vs Scott Fischman, an FTP pro. Here's how he got owned:

Flop does not hit his minraise range for sure, but don't want to raise and get called by overpair or something. So I just float. Turn is sweet, he tanks forever and pots. I insta call and pray for ugly river. River is fugly, i insta fire, he tanks and folds. ![]()
Fun stuff: won a poker set in some raffle I didn't even know was running. Set is worth $175. Ship it!
Edit: Update
Graph from today.

Record breaking volume ^^ But it's easy with Rush Poker, one day I'll grind out 5K hands with no problem (hopefully ^^).

Another roller-coaster day, but it's OK, tons of standard spots, some good bluffs, no crazy spewing, no OOP playmaking. Good day, I like my performance despite the result. ![]()
Hmm, maybe switching from small ball to small dick strategy wasn't the best idea ever? ![]()
Won 4BI pot at the start of the session, what more can I ask? ![]()
Finally I will have a free day tomorrow, meaning no studies, no errands, nothing (hopefully). Maybe I'll try some MTT action, BLT, Double Deuce, other donkaments.
Here's a monkey:

Here's a hand:
$0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Hi
6 Players
Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is BB 9♦ 6♠ 10:diamond: J♠
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.85, CO calls $0.85, 1 fold, SB calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.60
Flop: 7♥ A♣ 2♠ ($3.40, 4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, CO checks
Turn: 8♠ ($3.40, 4 players)

River: Q♥ ($20.40, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $11.25, SB folds
Somewhat nice hand to enter a four way pot. Of course, it has more straight than flush potential, because chasing medium flush draw in a multiway pot leads to a disaster.
Nothing on the flop, so I check and forget the hand. We somehow get checked around to the turn, which brings OESD/flush draw and now the first guy bets half pot. I love half pot lead outs. They are so ridiculously stupid ^^ He tells us that he has a flushdraw most of the time OR has a two pair which he expected to check/raise on the flop. The two pair scenario, however, is not very realistic because it would be a very bad play to check two pair in multiway pot. On the other hand, Rush poker is full of players that are, well, not perfect. But anyway, his most likely holding is flushdraw because he would bet two pair bigger. So I just raise pot and expect to take it down. He calls, which is not surprising - they just can't let their draws go. River - a total blank but I have no showdown value so I have to fire a believable "value" bet. He thinks for a while which makes me think he has an ace to go with his flushdraw or maybe a Q brought him an odd two pair, but my pot raise on turn was very strong so I'm either representing a set on turn or a slowplayed monster on flop, so he folds. Anyway, it's not that important what I represent, because in those limits, in Rush poker in general they just play their hand.
About half pot bets - I started using them in Rush poker in two ways: vs bad/unknown players half-pot bet on blank river makes them fold all their not premium hands; vs a better players it induces a bluff on a scary river which actually gave me the nuts.

PLO2, PLO25 and PLO50:

Was in a lot of setups, so crazy
But it's OK, standard. Played bad in some spots, because was feeling dizzy for some reason. Maybe it's because of this weather ![]()
Entered PLO2 SH because two more pokerstrategists were residing there. Again, setups over setups ^^
Spewed ~$20 in MTTs. Standard ![]()
Good news: got $100 bonus offer from Full Tilt. Thank you ![]()
Random hand:
$0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Hi
6 Players
Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 10:diamond: J♠ 10:heart: 8♦
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.25, 3 folds, BB calls $1.75, UTG calls $1.75
Flop: Q♦ 5♣ 4♠ ($7, 3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks
Turn: 7♠ ($7, 3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $4.50, BB calls $4.50, UTG folds
River: 6♣ ($16, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $11, BB folds
Delayed c-bet, semi-bluff river to make him fold odd two pair or Q along with his flush draw.
Back to studying.
Short update to keep the blog alive.
PLO50 and PLO25, still going bad:

Still a tiny volume, studies are raping my brain. Hopefully I can do it, Monday is the big day. If I ship the exam, then I will definately hold some sort of sick volume in plo challenge.
Kudos for Irooz for keeping the Omaha section alive, it is so-so dead lately.
Hmm, what else? Random stuff: watched some PLO videos; still did not win a penny for my FTP points, getting $26 or $75 tokens but not cashing it in mtts/sngs; got $100 rakeback yesterday; want to move to Pokerstars.
Back to studies, yay ![]()
Edit: Update
Took a break from studies, played some PLO. Sick result:

68BB/100, won 10 stacks, weeee. A rare moment in my carreer ^^
Vanessa love
![]()
Exam was postponed to evening, so decided to play some rush PLO25:

Ran sick cold (as you can see) ![]()
Winning a pot was a very rare occurance ^^ Bluffs failed, draws failed, nuts failed, floats fails, peeling failed ![]()
Hopefully exam will go allright, then it will be GRIND TIME.
Edit:update
Shiiiiiiiiiiped exam! Also used 1.8K FTP points in 9 man sng, 3 get $26 token. Got token. Used that token in 18 man sng, 5 win $75 token. Won that token. Used that token in 9 man sng - won first place, $310. Weeee, happy days.
Ok, so that my exams are done, I can grind some, big time ![]()
Was planning to move to Pokerstars but found out I have an account there already
Don't remember when I created it, but anyway, bonus is gone. Thinking about moving some to Mansion or Bet365 maybe... keep a chunk in FTP to get consecutive Iron Man challenge months. Also have to withdraw a huge chunk to pay my bills/debts ^^
Graph from today's grind, PLO25:
Nice volume, nice graph. Hopefully I'll grind more and set some personal records
How many hours have you played to get that much volume ?!
10 Buy ins in 3k hands... Not enough for you ♠_cool:
How many hours have you played to get that much volume ?!
2/3rd of the hands were played in Rush poker, so it went way faster than normal. Took about 4 hours I think.
Rush blows, but during happy hours everybody flocks to Rush, so I can't table select in normal game and have to follow the fish to the Rush ^^
BREAKING NEWS
Made biggest mistake of life - deposited to bet365. Software - terrible. Bonus - unclearable. PC keeps crashing for some reason when playing on Bet365. Had trouble configuring HEM. Luckily I only deposited a bity bit - $300, so let's lose it quickly and forget about it ^^

What about the option "Cash out" ?
What about the option "Cash out" ?
Hm, you think that's possible without clearing the bonus/waiting for it to expire? Ok, I think I will carefully ask around ^^
