Heyo,
he's some taggish reg for 30-40 hands or so and no history with him. I haven't been 3b at all so I went for a CC. I prefer floating in this spot but decided to raise this time. It's kind of weird spot on the river as I decided that I have a valuebet and prolly he's ch/shipping with aces up or sth slowplayed or a bust OESD(T8s) on the flop. I doubt he's bet/c with sth weak and would go for this line as I don't think he's really thinking about my range.

im not raising flop vs unknown. Not to say that its not the best spot for cbet, so he has a hand a lot of times here. Yeah you can float but you can even fold vs unknown guy.
As played i think its easy bet\fold.

I think I'd call the flop.
He's not folding many better hands but your equity against his bettingrange is most likely far above the 28% you need to call.

As played you see the problem on the turn: You turned A high 2nd best kicker into a bluff and he called so you have to give up.

On the river I'd also bet/fold. I doubt he's capable of turning a pair intoa bluff and the only busted draw is T8.

One thing to consider though is, that a good handreader will know you never have a strong hand after checking back the flop so you should keep in mind that against an aggro and good opponent who is not afraid of big bluffs this could turn into a bet/call on the river.

exactly

+i dont like 2 things here: pf i d more often than not just r for value, and ofc the F r is just bad vs tag---> if he has air he ll give up on T, so u dont have to r F at all.

@ TLN What 3b value/bluff range would you suggest in these cases:
bvb vs TAG/LAG with no history and TAG-gy image
bvb vs TAG/LAG who we have some history with. Like we've been 3b him IP on other tables prev sessions and probably showed some weak hands.

btn/CO vs blinds
again vs TAG/LAG with history and no history

Please give me an opinion also on the value/bluff ratio. Is it only a good idea to 3b hands like KJ+,QJ,AJ vs btn opener if we have history and know he'll defend with dominated. Or we only 3b them vs nitty/TAG-gy guys(UTG) because of blockers and FE.

pfuh, good questions, but sorry this would be rly just for separate coaching lesson mostly. a general answer is obv: if u pick on sb defending too much, widen your 3bet value range as far as it goes esp to all hands that dominate his calling range (fe: u ve seen him cc with T9?--> that essentially means u can 3bet A9 for clear value vs him (well, basically if he defs any scs + all pairs u can just about 3bet all Ax, most of broadways and about all pps. However playability is also very important so ofc its a weird mixture of how u like/can play different hands like low pps scs or so.. scs play ip well in smaller pots when we can be drawing for more streets usually) ; when u dont see him defending too much, just 3bet many trashhands unless he does sth abt it.

so all 3betting is rly matter of taste/history/flow hence experience, more concrete receipts are rly deep analysis of a plr dependant, most usually

this essentially means that whenever u think a person is going to def w KQ, QJ, AJ and worse or/and makes some stupid moves postflop u should abs always go for a 3bet for value w AQ @bvb.

I see thx. What about vs unknowns? Is it a good idea to start 3b them IP loosely for some image and to get an idea of their game(the way they defend) and tighter OOP? Or we better try to get an idea of how they react to 3b first and then adjust our 3b range accordingly - if they defend widely or 4b/f.

IP you can basically do whatever you want .
Just be aware of your image and shut down very quick when you realize they play back light.
And more important be aware of what kind of image you have overall - even though you might only be overaggressive preflop the opponents might think you're also a spewtard postflop.
