Ok, since I have to withdraw heavily from my BR lately, my BR is almost dried out and will end if I don't overcome this nice little downswing. Isn't it fun that I live off PLO25 and can never move up and can never experience a longer downswing because that would make me starve? Love life :f_biggrin:

$0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Hi
6 Players

Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 10:spade: Q♦ A♦ 9♥
UTG calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.10, 1 fold, BTN calls $1.10, SB calls $1, BB calls $0.85, UTG calls $0.85

Flop: 9♦ 10:club: 2♦ ($5.50, 5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets $5.50, Hero calls $5.50, 1 fold, SB folds, BB calls $5.50

Turn: 3♣ ($22, 3 players)
BB bets $19.52, UTG calls $10.97, Hero calls $19.52

River: 4♠ ($72.01, 3 players)

Final Pot: $72.01
BB shows
A♥ 3♠ K♦ 3♦
UTG shows
7♦ J♦ Q♣ K♣
Hero shows
10:spade: Q♦ A♦ 9♥

BB wins $69.01 (net +$42.89)

My typical luck, 55% favourite in 3-way pot is not enough.

Also, was outplaying some maniac, so he got pissed of and 4-bet me with trash. Long story short, lost stack vs a dominated hand. Whine over.

Bumhunt nl50 HU, you'll feel like printing money while playing low variance poker. And then after getting back more comfortable BR you can go back to plo or w/e you enjoy playing imo.

hi. im a plo noob but why dont you raise that flop with 2p and nfd and gutter?

Bumhunt nl50 HU, you'll feel like printing money while playing low variance poker.

Yea, that's tempting.... But too easy :f_biggrin: (j/k)

hi. im a plo noob but why dont you raise that flop with 2p and nfd and gutter?

Exactly for the reasons you stated. My hand is so strong that I want other people to call flop with some marginal draw which I dominate.

Played some in bet365, PLO20:

One guy lost 4 or so stacks to me, I think he commited suicide. Oh well :f_cool:

UPDATE

Managed to recover some in FTP PLO25:

Gotta love a 100% VPIP maniac to your right, calling him down with underpair is so thrilling for some reason :f_p:

Swing my ass! Winning 4 way all in pot in the end helped ^^

Funny how people call 5-bet with KQQ4 and hit KQQ :f_biggrin:

UPDATE

Played some in bet365. Was planning to do 500 hands (even 6 tabling it takes alot of time, because software is sick slow), but changed my mind halfway. Because of this:

10BI below AI EV in PLO20.

Being 88.5% favourite in 3 way all-in is not enough. No further comments :f_biggrin:

I'm curious how much rake /100 hand do you play at FTP in SH? well, if are not lazy to calc :)

dont do it

it will shock you... ftp rake >> stars rake

Ok, but where they are compared to ipoker?

I calculated that:
- on FTP, PLO25 SH I paid 15.5BB/100 rake;
- on ipoker, PLO20 SH I paid 22.6BB/100 rake.
Sample size much much bigger on FTP + I play twice as loose on ipoker than on FTP, don't know if that affects rake (early in the morning, can't think).

Yesterday took a break and ventured to NLHE HU SNG. Played 6, won 5. Also tried to win ticket to montly million (on ipoker) in last man standing satellites (HU SNG levels - win 1st = advance to second, etc.). Must win nine levels in a row to get ticket, lose in any level and start from zero. So won level 1, then level 2, then...long story short, won the ticket :f_biggrin: I can't cash it out because it's a token so will have to try and ship that million. (BI $500+$35). That tournament is in 15 days, maybe I should work on my MTT game and ship it, or maybe I should slack and do nothing. Both options are tempting.

Ok, thanks.
you are probably much loose than me, i calced my rake at about 17BB/100 on ipoker.

Very easy the answer, ship it _thumbsup:

Hey Jackaloff, I'm sure you'll be allright. As I read your blog, its all downswings, graphs of lost BIs, withdrawals, but hey - you still playin'! So I figure you have your method. BTW +2 respect points for you for playing on ipoker lol

Thanx for support, Marvinas, especially the I-poker part :f_biggrin: Damn software tilts me to death :f_cool:

Haven't been playing PLO lately, reviewing my game/slacking/learning NLHE HU SNG.
Will come back to PLO of course, but I feel like I need a break from the 4 card game right now.

Monthly results:

FTP PLO:

Ipoker PLO:

Sick profits :f_biggrin:

FTP Sng/MTT:

Funny graph is funny :f_biggrin:

Ipoker Sng/MTT:

Rakeback: $200.44

Total: ~$600.

Very mediocre results, but meh, there's always next month :f_biggrin:

damn I wish I made 600$. Each month I plan to make at least 100$ (thats just 3,5$ a day, clearly reachable even at NL2), make 50, and then lose 100 on some bright ideas (hey, I'm running so hot at NL5, must be I'll crush NL50!!! What, lost a full BI? Hmm, lets try again, must be some software error. What, lost this one and half of another??? Ok, time to restrict myself from poker for yet another week (btw just love this feature of FT, saves my bucks every month)).

Reason I'm telling all this is that today's bright idea was like "ok, lost 20$ at NL5 rush, lets try PLO instead, I've read in some blog its cool!". And so I tried PLO10SH in rush - rush style, and won nice 30$! Took about 300 hands to do it, so I figure this is what, 100 bb / 100 hands? Naaaaaiiisss!

And finally a question - are those people at rush plo10 just some charity to support n00bs n' fishez, or its just some nice variance came my way? Cos I'm worried I might like that, and just cant use that self - ban because of their damn take2 these days.

It's both charity and variance :f_biggrin: Opposition at those levels are very bad, but in PLO there's no such thing as drawing dead so prepare to get cracked again and again and again and again and again and again and again :f_biggrin:

Playing some hands of PLO but volume to low to post a graph or something.

Still working on my NLHE HU SNG skills and full ring NLHE MTT skills. Yesterday won $26 token for FTP points, turned that token into $75 token, entered KO MTT, KOed 4 people for $60 bucks, was doing allright until some deep stack lost a bunch, went on tilt and started shoving every hand, on his 4th shove I caught pocket eights, figured if I win I have a decent chance to final table, I call, he has QTo, Q on flop, goodbye my love, goodbye my friend :f_p:

Watching quite a lot of poker learning videos recently, less playing - more nerd studying! :f_cool:

As you can see from the picture, I haven't played much poker lately :f_biggrin:

Played $26 2K gtd Doublestack KO PLO MTT. Busted 3 ppl, then busted self in 30th place out of 200 something, 27 get paid :f_biggrin:
Also played the $15 super turbo KO donkament, finished ITM + KOed 5 ppl.

Also tried those 90 man turbo NLHE KO SnGs (always looking new opportunities :f_cool: ), played 4 of them, placed 2nd, 3rd, no cash, no cash :f_grin:

Today also played $75 $17.5K gtd Doublestack KO NLHE MTT, got crippled at the very start with this: piehead raises, I 3-bet, he calls oop. I hold KK. Flop comes KJ7 two clubs. He checks, I c-bet half pot, he shoves, I snap, he shows AQo with one club. Yeehaw! Turn club, river club. IMO not yeehaw :f_cool:

So, as you can see, playing more MTTs lately, for some reason unknown to me. PLO lately is just pure video watching, no volume at all. But not to worry - will be back some day soon :f_biggrin:

Also upgraded my Pro Omaha Manager - added Pro Holdem Manager. Nice stuff.

O/T: you got to love THE post services. Pokerstrategy shipped me T-shirt twice, I did not get it both times. They told me in office it got lost or smth. Yea right (I did not ask Pokerstrategy to ship it for the 3rd time because I feel embarrased for my mailman who keeps stealing my T-shirt :f_p: ). So what else? I got my poker set from Chicago (big surprise it wasn't stolen). What I did not get is: my Moneybookers card and my 'Poker Mindset' book. What a ripoff :f_confused:

Grinded PLO25 abit today.

All went well, except the last 30 minutes A healthy $70 swing down. Still a profitable day thou:

Don't have time to post/analyse hands, must do something about my master thesis :f_biggrin:

plo is sick, i cant imagine playin 20bb/100 rake,

plo is sick, i cant imagine playin 20bb/100 rake,

You get used to it eventually :f_biggrin:

1h47min session of 6-tabling PLO25 SH today:

When drawing out of position fails for the villain :f_biggrin:

I know these pots are kind of small, but large pots are usually made hands vs drawing hands or worse made hands, so nothing interesting there :f_cool:

EDIT: UPDATE

Played two tables of RUSH PLO25 SH:

Negative red line - maybe I'm playing those too straightforward, but it's hard without firm reads/HUD.

It's time for Daniel Negreanu 'Did you know'.

Did you know that 96% favourite hands do not win when you run this bad? :f_biggrin:

Today was a sad day in the Sng section. Lost in steps, lost in satellites, lost in 90 mans, epicly lost in HU SnG (found two sick fish - drained one, another owned me 3 times in a row being dog on every all in :f_biggrin: ). So I decided to give our beloved RUSH PLO a go. Results:

Sick bluffing action, don't know what's got into me. Had to focus alot because people who caught me bluffing never ever gave me credit later so they were hero calling with any made hand, sick :f_cool:

Funny hand:

$0.10/$0.25 Pot Limit Omaha Hi
6 Players

Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is BTN 7♦ 5♦ 9♥ 6♦
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.10, SB calls $1, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.85

Flop: Q♦ A♦ Q♠ ($3.55, 3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $2.40, SB raises to $4.80, UTG folds, Hero raises to $7.20, SB calls $2.40

Turn: 8♦ ($17.95, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $17.95, SB folds

Would ship on any turn of course, but diamond was nice. His line is face up obvious - he has Q but is afraid that I have aces. So my minreraise flop, shove turn was obvious that I'm a fish that does not know how to get value with aces :f_biggrin: He was unknown to me - that's why I did this, regs already picked up that I'm a bluffy jerk and would never fold a Q here.

So, what else? Bluffed off like 2/3rd of a stack repping quads when it turned out villain had the quads :f_biggrin:
