While I agree with you about the terrible acting the situations seem pretty genuine to me. In some cases painfully so.

But those 3 shows have hot chicks for the guys and pretty fashion stuff for the girls. I don't find those shows too painful or fake to watch, I've watched less than an episode of each just for the inevitable skin show. This show has nothing going for it. It's a good idea for a movie though, but none of that cast has any charisma to hold up a reality show. If they went out and casted a young pro for a show they might find someone, but I suspect this kid paid for the camera work etc. himself.
