I broke my own rules today and I payed for it.....
I played 3 sets while sick.
Man this cold hit me out of nowhere and I cant think straight and like allergies I get pissed off easy
when I am sick. So I played the first two sets and they went well so no problem. Then I fired up
the third set and busted out of 11 games.. And man did I ever fucking tilt. I was swearing and
yelling at the screen and just acting like a retard.Things were not my fault but it was like I could care less about long term or anything else it was
just rediculous how bad I was running. I would get to the bubble push for abuse and get called by
second stack who was within 300 chips of me with his AA. KK on another table and AK on a third.I did manage to take 1 first place and it was an awsome game...
I ended up having 3 villains with less than 1k chips and me.
I ended up knocking out one and then the other 2 in the hand or so after it.
I love those games..
But anyhow I have one set left for today and I am skipping it.
It took a while to get over that third one and usually when I bust out of my whole set which happens very rarely,
I just shake it off and its no problem. Today however is clearly one of those days where I can spend my time doing

This is one rotten sickness.
I barely stayed awake yesterday never mind played any SNGs.
Today it is still pretty bad so it will be tv episodes and movies and other shit to fill the time untill I am better.
I think I am comming down with silveritus.
After first gettin' my gold status, dropping back to silver sucked ...
All of a sudden I couldn't check out the stuff I'd already glimpsed before
So to prevent that bs in future cases (like now, as I've dropped back to silver once again),
once I reach a new level for the first time, I save all the articles/web pages on my drive and problem solved for life

I want to post my lifetime graph because it shows me how much I have grown.
So this is it, the whole everything played on Full Tilt and Poker Stars.

You can see the first drop like the U.S. ego after the 2010 olympic hockey game, and that caused me to take quite
a long break from SNGS. I did not include anything with more than 1 table in this graph because of the red line
not working right when you use those so there are another 390 odd games with ~$110 profit missing from this.
This graph does not show rakeback and bonuses either. I have made much more than this dollar amount over all.
Anyhow a few things for me to reflect on......
#1 I started with .25 cents after that huge drop on this graph.
#2 it happened to me again at ~3400 games and it was no big deal compared to the first time even though not AS large my
BR was much smaller when it happened this time aroound and I just kept playing on at a lower limit with no major problems.
#3 Holy fuck this game is not for the faint of heart!! For any of you newer players reading this, NOTE that I have almost played
4 thousand games and I am still just starting my journey. If I had not hit that first major drop I most definately would
have gone on to play in much higher limits but some people are luckier than others for when the first huge drop hits them.
No wonder most SNG blogs dissapear after a year or two. Props to ATOKS who seriously held on and made it through to
the big time with all that dedication and I can only hope to come close. The long run is REALLY fucking long. I do not mind
I am understanding this more and more every day and getting better and better at dealing with the patience needed to
move on.
#4 its May time so I will re use Aprils Goals since April forgot to happen poker wise.

his true ROI is probably a lot higher imo. thats a combination of ROIs from all BIs which can magnify if you run horribly on one BI and run ok on others.

Yep like %10 on 2s for example but I keep getting trounced in the $6.50s and I am way below EV on the 6.50s.
OK, so today is over, and I have only played 12 games. I did not have time for more. I ended up winning ~$50 though.
It was just a matter of playing mostly the same way but having hands hold up and not running into so many monsters.
I got a little braver and started posting more and more in the evaluation section.
IDK how stupid it makes me look but I dont care because I am learning fuckloads when those evil gavels come slamming down.
I know I said this before but this is self reinforcement of the fact that it is a good idea to keep trying to say it again.
It's discouraging sometimes to be sooo far off but its also enlightening and pride takes a back seat to the wealth I am gaining in
knowledge.
Alot of the stuff I was learning the most from has been shut off from me untill I reach gold again so it is a little more difficult
to compare some answers with articles but ces la vie.
Tilted once during my 12 games but it was not because villain hit his miracle card.....
it was not because villain played badly and got lucky....
it was because when his miracle card hit every fucking inch of me knew it was his miracle card.
every inch of me said fold now because even though it is unbeleivable, and even though its just sooo bad luckwise, it is the
only possible thing he was hoping for and he has hit it. You know it. FOLD.
and I call.
So I tilted a) by calling and b) by being mad at me not villain.
I was like FUCK I knew it and now I have a small stack wtf and were pretty early.
Its odd because later on in the SNG I was finally forced to push 66 and got called by 66 and JJ.
Talk about drawing dead.
But I did not tilt at that time.
I was not bothered by it only by the fact I did not fold when I KNEW I WAS BEAT!!!!!!!
I hit some pretty shity luck in the end game stages today as well. I kept getting called when abusing and not by shit.
One table the co leader and the second shorty both wake up with JJ and AK and I'm shoving ass.
this happened on 2 other tables but it was co leader and not 2 people and both times with a monster.
I still ended up with 3 firsts 3 seconds and 2 thirds which was fun.
OOPS results orientated there BUT... fuck it because I have been ignoring results while losing all kinds and being way
below that evil bastard of a red line for quite some time now so as I said OOPS!! Whos perfect anyways?

So I was reading lessthanthree's blog and he mentioned playing in succession and not sets.
I thought about it and figured I would give it a go and see how long it would take to play 24 games.
Its about an hour and a half which is pretty fucking sick.
So I played two sets of 24 games today and it felt like a lot less work than the usual 4 sets of 12.
I am also not bored or disheartened when the first games go bad game after game because I am still fully
busy right up untill the last few games are left. I also go through a full session without chasing results.
I am being honest when I just play 12 games in one single set and its like 4 games left and I push with Ax
and 5 BBs left I sometimes watch it because I have time and that tempts the tilt monster.....
But with 12 always open theres no worries and by the time I am down to like 5 games left I was too busy to
see any earlier bad beats so I end up not too bothered by any I see.
Pretty sick win I think.
So made like ~$60 today which is putting me towards the $650 BR for 6.50s on Full Tilt.

glad ur liking continuous. im liking it too on my new limit. i get slightly less games/hr compared to 16 tabling sets. but a lot more concentration which is very +EV obviously
