Well i've had a great couple of days and near enough doubled my bankroll

@Mugge88 - thanks for the support dude, much appreciated. And as for the remembering patterns its so much easier than it sounds i recommend everyone to develop their memory it helps with so much

Had brill day yesterday catching up with 2 other school friends and spent the day shooting an air rifle at what ever we could find, beer cans, coke cans (other brands are available :f_cool:) empty and full, bunches of ligthers and aresol cans and a couple of birds too. All with beers and a BBQ what a perfect day. On the night went back to my absolute account and played some .50c games and it was just cash after cash after cash took me upto about 37$. And today up another $10 so im about to start the $1 games.

Still no graphs or stats to show of cos im still getting fucked about by the guy fixing my computer but all in good time.

Been working on my bubble play alot hammering the ICM trainer and it seems to be paying off im finding it alot easier to see the best spots for blind stealing and even better knowing when i should be getting out of the way.

Ill post again later after my first shot at the $1 games.

well i was doing ok at the $2 games but soon got hella bored of playing them so i thought id try some HUSNGs the lowest on absolute is $5 though.

I have no idea what kind of BRM should be used for HU but i had $70 when i tried my first, i only tried cos i was bored shitless of the 9 and 6 players and my cash game sucks at the minute. well anyway i won the first HU and then left it played a couple more 9 player $2 games but had an itch to get back to playing the HU games so i did and ive been running so hot.

i know its only a small sample size but im about to attempt post my first graph of my first 75ish HU SNG's

My bankroll has now shot from $24 to $169.40 in 2 and half days play!

Im gonna stick to these HU games for a while now cos i think im easily beating nearly all the people that sit down opposite me

My bankroll has just seen $200 for the first time in its life

Feeling pretty good about the way im playing too but gotta play alot more of these to find out if im playing fishy and pissing alot of people off or playing good and pissing people off :f_love:

Not gonna move up anytime soon, not for any BRM reasons just becuase everyone ive played in the last two days has been horse shit my HEM stats for the first 102 HU SNG's says ROI:48.1%. Me and my beautiful girlfriend are house sitting for the long weekend so lots of peace and quiet for plenty of volume so i can get a better idea of where i stand.

Off to play some more while im feeling this good, wish me luck _love:

Damn nice graph :) I hope it's not just a lucky streak, but it seems like you have found your game :)

If you continue like that you will hit the 1k$ mark in no time too :P

I sure hope so Mugge and when i hit the 1mil mark (lol i wish) i'll remember you as the only person to post in my blog :f_love:

Anyway after the last post last night only played a couple more and ended the day at $195 bit of a mental block getting past 200 now but i think thats because im thinking of the money instead of thinking about crushing the person opposite.

Here is my sharkscope graph, circled is when i got bored and wanted a new game so tried HU:

ok so ive decided to take a turn off on my poker sng road and just concentrate on HU as you can see from my earlier graphs i started out pretty well. Now im starting to think i maybe luckboxed my way through the first $150 profit. I've played 250ish more games and am b/e staying around $200 the most i saw was $240 and down to about $170.

I know i need a bigger sample than this, what is a good sample to know how well you are doing at HU sngs? 95% of the time i feel i have 10x the ability of the person across from me, but then that is sometimes my downfall too thinking im better often stops me playing my A game.

If any HU players happen to read this please feel free to leave some feedback and advice, i do believe this limit is easy for me to beat but i can't get my thoughts right to play my A game all the time so advice on this would be good too.

Some HU goals for me

:club: Get a good sample size of $5 HU sngs (ideas on a good number?)
:club: Play my A game all of the time
:club: Move to a site where i can get rakeback
:club: Move to $10 HU sngs

Well just pissed away 10 BI in about 45 minutes so down to $150 and not impressed with myself i could and should have saved myself at least 5 of those BI's but i fuck it up anyway.

Time for a break i think get back some composure.

Hey Irooz! thanks for stopping by,

Thanks for the advice. Im not sure what kind of roll to aim for for the $10's i started the $5's with about 17 BI's and by the end of the day had 45 took a couple of shots at 10's but with no success so sticked to the 5's i was thinking i'd maybe wait till about $300 before trying $10's again, is this too conservative or too aggressive? The $10's here are full of fish too (alot of them the same people that play the 5's but i think i get too tight because i start thinking of the money and would feel more comfertable at $300. Think i answered my own question lol.

I'm done for today i think ill have another session tonight and see how it goes. the Graph was from HEM was the first one ive posted so didnt really know how to do it properly lol and i dont know how to add other lines and such, still expereminting you see.

You can do it all with Holdem manager. im not sure if you can do much with omaha though (with the name and all) but there is maybe an omaha version like there is of pokertracker. but im a complete fish too when it comes to programs like this go to pokertracker and holdem managers websites and try out their free trials before you buy it

Got my head back in it today thank fuck. was down to $140 at the end of a terrible day yesterday but after halfway through a so far good session ive clawed back $40 so my bankroll currently stands at $183.

Had a good chat with a couple of people about HU games and started reading moshmans HU book and it made me forget all about tilting and ive got the right mindset again. Just played my A game all day!

Back to the tables to keep owning

Found a new challenge for me today, adapting to different opponents. I crush the TAGs and alot of the LAGs but for example just now im playing against somebody who open raises 100% of the time NEVER folds to a reraise and folds to C-bet about 7% of the time then will call a shove on the turn with a gutshot (ofc he's hit this the last 3 times ive played him, first time i had 2 pair other 2 times i had set and he hit gutshot once runner runner the next ) How do you play against this type of opponent? These are the options i see

1. I sit really tight and wait for monsters and hope he doesnt hit his draws at the same time risking losing lots of blinds.

2. Lots of cold calling, hope i pick up a big draw or call down with top or middle pairs (i find these opponents bet pot alot bluffing or not so it ends up being alot to call)

I have a couple of these players in my PT3 history that i have a few hands on and looking back non of them give into a bluff they have called me down with J high lol. I know these people are profitable im just finding it hard to find the way to make them profitable at the minute. I probably have some more options of how to play but remember im still a noob so dont flame me for making a fishy post lol help me out and tell me how to profit from these guys.

Anyway bankroll staning at $167 at the min but i feel better already after posting so am ready to hit the felt and win again. Oh also what else can i be reading/studying to help with my HU apart from Moshman?

Hey Steve,

Cheers for the support and good luck with your own HU games.

If you want, and if there are any others that are up for it, we can start some sort of study group for these games? (this maybe already exists if it does let me know someone)

Ill be back later to blog about how well/crap im doing.

Time to call it a night i think had a good session tonight and im playing well but to tired to keep concentration now BR is $191 so im up5-6BI hands and graphs to follow tomorrow

Hi, another husng grinder here. But like Irooz I also like to grind plo husngs.

Played a bunch of nl games with break-evenish results and switched to super turbo plo husng's in Tilt (the ones with only 500 chips and 2 minute blinds, they usually last about 5 minutes). I've mostly played the $2 games. So far I've been murdering the games and just took a shot at the $5. :f_biggrin:

And like you, I'm also developed an interest towards mnemonics. I've read parts of Harry Lorayne's and Dominic O'Brien's books but I haven't put that much effort in learning yet. However, I think people are wrong claiming that exceptional memory doesn't help you with poker since there is one game where it is a clear benefit: stud!

And apparently I'm also your long lost twin brother because I'm too reading the Moshman's hu book. Although just starting, page 40 or so, I've been lazy lately. I guess the lazyness is my biggest flaw in games.

However, I will read your blog with great interest. Keep crushing! _cool:
