So i said i was playing 3 more freerolls. The only freeroll where you can atualy cash by just skill was the $100 I completely blew it by trying to bluff the fish with their extreme weird lines. Which quickly cost me half my stack and then no luck when i was with 99 vs K9. Same things for the poker rail radio freeroll, well just the bad luck part.

I was basicaly running good from the start. As you can see here. I was in 3rd place at 101 people left and i basicaly stayed in the top 10 till the very end.
Another interesting thing is here you can see mientje22 down to 6BB. She must have gone on an incredibly sick run because at the final table she was dominating with over half of the total chips in play

So i was pretty shortstacked at the final table with 6BB left. Keep in mind though the average stack in the whole tournament was only 10BB. There's a few interesting things about this.
You see zundertftw who has kept his chip lead for a very long time.
You see Mientje22 who was down to 6BB with 30k chips and must have doubled up like 5 times in a row atleast.
Only me an zundertftw are seen in the top 23 with 87 players of everyone on the final table. So they probably luckboxed like crazy like me ♦

So we are down to 3 people. My heart is beating like crazy the whole tournament. I'm second in chips, i have no reason to risk it at this point. Mientje22 is very agressive so i just let them fight it out. And steal some chips occasionaly to keep my stack the same.
Mientje22 is pushing alot of hands i have A5. and she pushes yet again, so i'm thinking i'm definetly ahead of her range. It was a pretty loose call though. But i was tired of her stealing my chips. Folding might have been better.

Jokes aside though it was serious business. First place was $155 and second place $113. Both which were larger then my current bankroll.
We were going up an down for about 15-20 mins. I made alot of good hands at the start. But i just couldn't get any action, betting or slowplaying he'd always fold it. I only started with about 19BB and he with 27BB. It just doesn't allow for much play. I didn't have enough chips to really do something without risking atleast half my stack.
So i had quite alot of supporters ♦ People from pokerrail.nl were watching and recognized me. Wuttehhell was watching, and giving me some advice. I knew how to take chips from this guy. But it was so hard to trap him, maybe he never hit or is an extreme nit. I don't know.. he'd never call my bets.
This guy was pushing alot of hands and kept showing them to me. It was pretty disgusting how many good hands he was getting.In the last 40 hands he got AA twice, AQ three times, KK and JJ. While i kept getting trash. I had him down 2 to 1 twice, i could have been more agressive, but i would have probably just run into one of his monsters. So wuttehhel said to me push when he calls from the button because he's pushes with good hands. So that sounded logical and i almost busted doing that. I never expected he would call me this loose. K5 was really the bottom of my range with what i was going to do this with.

So i finished in second place. Overall i'm very happy with my play. Although i luckboxed like crazy, you really don't reach the final table unless your extremely lucky. I got it in with the best hand and lost it, if you have to lose a tournament then that's the way i want to go out. I really wanted to win the tournament though but i'm still happy.
Imo he didn't deserve to win it. Just going to be brutally honest here. He was a fish who got extremly lucky. Doubling up 4 times in a row vs the same player on the final table. Letting his stack go as low as 1BB. I think me, mientje22 or zundertftw deserved to win it the most. Although zundertftw made the same mistake.

I tried to read collin moshmam's book on sng's but i didn't get further then 20 more pages (page 50 now after a week). I'm really going to commit myself to reading it entirely tomorrow. I also want to read a HU book, but going to look for that later. I'll be switching to HU sng's sometime this week Because 90 man ko sng's are just too time consuming. Plus if you tilt in HU you might throw away 1 buy in, The value you throw away in MT sng's can be many times higher then the buy ins you lost.
I also ordered the poker mindset, sadly it will take about 2 weeks before i get it :f_mad:.
So tomorrow i'm going to study alot and then play some HU sng's. I also worked out a deal with Wuttehhell so he can play again at pokerstars after he busted his bankroll. He'll probably bust it again, just joking! ♦ You can do it wuttehhell
Also made some new accounts at victory poker and red kings to play in even more freerolls. cashed 3/61 at victory poker for $23, the play is honestly incredibly bad. SB raises 3BB with k4 i shove with 20BB with K10 because i know he steals very loose and he even calls it while only having 19 bb left. It makes me want go to the store and let my wife carry all the beer while i drink one with an umbrella above my head so the rain doesn't go into my beer
Weekly Sunday Update #3
I didn't play much this week, or even the last 2 weeks really. But today was a good day. I played in some freerolls, no big wins just a few $. i was in really good place to win alot of money int he Facebook freeroll, But i made some stupid hero calls. Busting 241th/10000 for $2,20. It was a $5k freeroll but the prize structure was very bad, with the final table getting almost all of it. (I know it's like that often but it was more then normal)
I also played in a private tourny hosted by Poker rail radio. And won it, i didn't really focus on it at all. Till like the top 5 were left, So i won some flips when i needed too. Nothing extreme and after i had my full focus on it i quickly busted one person after another.

Also there's a weekly $100 freeroll on pokerstars that i played in 6/8 times. And the site that hosts them keeps a leaderboard. (1st = 100 points, 100th = 1 point. And 300 people on average). So i was 8th on the leaderboard so far on it because i missed two. I was a whole 60 points behind the first player, so my chances of getting first was very slim this month. But i got really lucky, this week double the players as usual registered to it. Probably because poker rail radio mentioned it. Thanks alot! So i busted about 34th getting enough points for first place! My average finish was top 20 in the 6 i played, getting first and second in 2 of them.
So i won a hoodie and $25
So i've been quite succesful in Tournaments. But i was too afraid to switch to tournaments only. Because i already whine when i get a downswing in 90man ko's. Tournaments swings are going to be even bigger. . I already played a few HU sng's, it has gone pretty well so far. 7 wins and 1 loss.
The Plan
Play heads up sng's with 20BI BRM, increasing the BI's for BRM as i move up the limits. I will start at $6 Hu sng's, and move up when i feel i beat them.
Play some small $1-2 tournaments every now and then.
Practice ICM which i haven't done in 2 weeks
Keep studying, going to watch more vids since i get bored easily when reading books. Plus i learn better when i hear things then when i read them. (That's the reason why i only had to pay attention in class to get through highschool without ever doing homework)

Quick update.. after running like complete shit yesterday at both HU's and tournaments. I want to get silverstar this month and it's possible if i put in enough volume, But i can't keep playing if i run like shit.. I'm trying to 2 table them and it just ended up being a complete disaster.
So today i start 2 tabling.. i lose 5/5 hu sng's.. If your using 20 BI BRM.. that simply is not good for your bankroll.. So i decide to start single tabling again. I win 2 in a row, no suck outs for me though sadly. Then i lose 2 in a row again.. due to very sick bad beats.
This guy hits his 2 outer on the river.. and then later hits his 6 outer on the turn to make a higher 2 pair. Just makes me sick how i'm ahead so often just to get sucked out again. I lost without a joke like 90% of the all ins today. I'm not even exagerating.. So 7 games lost and 2 won.. GF bankroll..
Just everything is going wrong. I bluff at the wrong times, i get it in at the wrong times. I was twice against players that just raised 10BB preflop or raised all in like 40% of the hands at the 15/30 level. And both times that i make a stand they showed AK suited.. Come on really? and ofcourse i see a
light at the end of the tunnel when i make 2 pair.. on the flop just to see him make runner runner for a straight T_T
Trying to play my A game and not tilt and then i just run like complete shit again just to make me tilt again when i lose against fucking donkeys. I worked so hard to grind my bankroll up, just to loose a huge part of it in 1 day..Not sure if i should stick to this 20 BI brm. I had more then 30 BI's a few days ago but it's almost at 20 now..
I should be getting the poker mindset in a few days.. Seeing as i just threw my headphones to my screen.. it will probably be helpful.. Thank god i didn't actualy damage my screen.. Or break the laptop as Ziimund does. Hopefuly i won't tilt this badly again.. and sorry for the long ranting post..

I'm still going for silver star this month. It's going to be quite hard, so i will have to put in alot of volume this month.
Won a ticket in a regional sattelite/tournament called "Pokernews NL WSOP Daily Rail Tournament [Netherlands]" I finished 4th/138 after my 4th try and top 9 win a ticket. So i breaked even without the rake. The ticket is for a tournament on 25 juli and about ~500 people will be in the freeroll. For every Dutch person that makes the final table in a WSOP tournament $1000 will be added to the prize pool up to $5000.
I just finished 4/589 in the $100 freeroll i always play 3 times a week hosted by a site. I had a $5 bounty on my head, so alot of people would call my all in with any two cards preflop. Which is a good thing if you get cards ofcourse. $5 = 5th place so it's understandable. I played good, ran alright. Had the best hand every single time i went all in, and was shortstacked the whole tournament. I won an extra $5 for making the final table in the 6 handed tournament, And would have won an extra $100 if i won the tournament. Sadly i busted 4th. Last hand below:

Nah, i knew some people would call me with any two this time ♦ That's a reason i got payed off a couple times where i wouldn't. The time i was bounty before i didn't adjust at all and busted like 150th
I played good TAG, was very patient and got it in good every single time. That's the only thing you can do 
I haven't played much this week. I went out 4th yet again out of about 400 people in the $100 freeroll on tuesday. JJ vs AK.. ofcourse i lose the first all in at the final table again
I'm not sure what i'm going to do at this point. Hu sng's haven't been working out well so far, i really don't know if it's variance or that i'm just playing bad. i'm going to set some goals for what i do every day, i'm just not spending my time efficiently. So going to study more, finish the pokermindset. Read some Heads up and tournament books. And keep playing in freerolls and some $1-2 tournaments is what i'm going to do. I haven't really cashed in any buy in tournament yet, a few times i cashed and then busted not very long after the bubble.. I know i'm just running bad at tournaments though so i don't mind too bad.
I'm hoping to really make alot of progress in poker this summer, so i can withrdaw about $600 on stars and still have atleast enough left to play on that same limit. So that i will hopefully be able to play on fulltilt with rakeback. Or i will just try to get Gold this summer so i atleast get half decent rakeback

sad lurkers lol. Going to try to get/order kill phil today. Haven't found it yet. I'm also playing in 2 tournaments on powerpoker tomorrow where supposedly Ziigmund is actualy playing and has a small bounty. I honestly do not believe he will actually be playing in that freeroll and $1 tournament even if it is for his sponsor. (power poker sponsors him). There will probably be just some random guy playing for him. On the other hand Ziigmund seems like a really cool guy from an interview i saw on pokerstatic so who knows?
Not much of an update again. No cashes in tournaments yet again. I can't win coinflips ever.. I don't even win when i'm way ahead.. Or like in a $2 tournament yesterday i get lucky with 66 vs 1010 when i make a set. And then i lose AK VS 89 and AQ vs 78 just a few hands later and i bust.. Pretty sure it's variance. If you can't even win spots where your a 70/30 favorite then it's very unlikely you will even reach the cash.
My bankroll has taken a big hit. It's still above $100 and i still got that $50 i lent wuttehhell so i'm still fine. Just going to study more, review my sessions more and just try to beat the variance with skill.
edit: BTW LOL at all the people who keep voting my blog one after i made that post. Hey just leave a comment saying how much i suck and how much you hate me. I'm all cool with that. Show your balls are atleast big enough to show your face on the internet Even 10 year old kidds act tough on the internet. So why does no one post saying it sucks? ♦
Weekly Sunday Update #5
I know it's a bit late, but i didn't feel like updating yesterday. I've decided to just never complain ever again about anything related to Poker. It's just not productive and doesn't help me in any way. I might even do something like "I will give $1 to XXX everytime i complain in my blog or wherever else on this forum or even skype/msn" But i'm not sure about that or who i would do it with. And it also seems kinda -EV since i will be the only one giving money so it'd kinda have to go two ways ♦
So my first week playing tournaments. I played about 30 tournaments (about 10 freerolls), i had amazing results. As you can see in my graph below. You just have to look at it in a positive way and you will see a nice graph.

So that was it really. I've played very little these last 2 weeks, and i want to start putting in alot of volume again. So lets see how it goes this week.
