You are good player :) ... Im from Bratislava, play you too live?

its 9 am and i still havent slept...i am !@#$ing tired. for the last 48 hours i played about 18hours 4 tabling, i wonder how i still haven died from boredom... probably because there is much money involved in nl400/600. watched several HU videos, analyzed loads of hands and wrote probably 3 sheets of notes for the most annoying nl400 regulars (takemefaraway - i hate u, angls4clary - still cannot decide if u r good or super good, jacckbauer - i hope u die from variance stupid shortstacker, 321toast - if u stop running so good u will definitely quit poker because of me, realjobslol - i like ur nick thats why i wont berate u.... and so on...)

i made around 4.2k which is quite good compared to where i was before 1 month. because my head will explode if i have to think more about poker/math/ranges/metagame i wont do any poker-related update

now i have to normalize my daily routine so i must not sleep till at least 9pm. i was wondering what to do all day without putting a single grey cell to work so i decided to download boooom-kick-slap-papapaapap-redORbluePill action movies and watch them all day. as u might already understand, i am talking about the matrix trilogy.

im off now to macdonalds or kfc to buy as much junk as i can carry

i feel so degen but i am so happy for my progress in poker that i dont really care atm about degeneracy.

glhf and have a nice week

@reres88
i rarely play live. and u? where?

look your community page for it..
cheers

kinda scary to follow your progression ;)

keep up the good work, and when TLN is back, u will be even more sicker.

this will be an epic from nl100 to nl1k in 2 months thread

just to illustrate you how sick are ppl and what comes to their mind when they hear "Bulgaria". after the invitation written by Jozef (page5) for a poker player to join our poker house, i've decided to post it in 2p2 to see how people will react.

well... first answer

obv americans were fascinated too much by Hostel

@Ash05
if everything is going well i might hit the nl1k tables in the beginning of the next month but we are going to Bulgaria for 2 weeks where the focus will be on drinking not playing so im quite sure, but yea 2 months :)

Lolol what section you post it in? Funny picture

The more i win.. the less I play. Still not sure why i subconsciously react this way but definitely need to improve this. Naturally i am competitive person and I am not interested in anything that doesn't involve some type of challenge. Therefore in order to motivate myself to play more I decided to set some super aggro goals for the next 5 months. (6 from the beginning of my pro poker career).

So lets see what was my initial goal for June set by TLN:

***June: Since NL200 is sth he will never ever play, we dont want to be beating the "good regs" on NL200 rly.. its just the BR booster here and starting with NL400 as soon as he gets to ~15k$ is essential. 40BI is deffo enough, tho i expect here some problems, so since i think he will have to play around 30-40k hands on NL200 still or so to get those 5k more, he ll just be establishing himself on NL400 last few days of June.

-i account for him having first few probs on NL400 so there is no wr expectation of him for first 2-3 weeks

So how is it going so far this month...well I started exclusively with nl400. I don't find the limit so hard as i was expecting. Probably its because i play only 4 tables, take loads of notes and combined with aggro funky lines i really manage to outplay the regulars. The sample is small and i cannot say i really crush everyone but I feel super confident with my game.

As you can see i've played only 4.7k hands which for a "professional" is incredibly irresponsible. The first day of the month i 6tabled nl200, so i've played all together around 6-7k hands this month which is still super low.

So here are my super aggro goals from now on:

June
[ ] totally crush nl400/600
[ ] $20k profit or 25k hands (profit includes winrate, rakeback, bonuses, rakeraces, propbetting _cool: )

Edit: on 24th we are flying to Bulgaria to celebrate my birthday so there is a chance i won't achieve this goal but we'll see

July
[ ] continue to crush nl400/600 and somewhere around the end of the month start with nl1k
[ ] 5k hands @ nl1k at least breakeven

August
[ ] 20k hands @ nl1k at least 1-2bb/100 winrate
[ ] start with HU, 5k hands @ nl50/100 only against regulars

Edit: we've planed a holiday on a yacht for around 10 days so it will be really hard to play much

September
[ ] establish myself as a feared solid super aggro nl1k regular _cool: _cool: ~5bb+/100 winrate
[ ] shots at nl2k
[ ] 5-10k hands nl200 HU

Edit: There wont be hands goal because the so called love of my life from USA will have internship in London so I will spend indefinite period of the month there

Octomber
[ ] 100$k clean profit for the whole 6 month period
[ ] shots on 5k (with 100k+ bankroll it is kinda aggressive but even if i lose 5 stacks i still have plenty of cash)
[ ] shots on nl400/1k HU

p.s
there are no goals such as "imrpove, study, watch videos etc" just because i do it constantly _cool:

Best of luck!

its good to see that u decided to change your attitude towards playing. its definitely a must to get in the hands and the hours if you call yourself a professional poker player.

last year when i was a "pro", i made the same mistake of stopping to play when i had one huge week/good days. especially in summer i just enjoyed the rest of the month once i had 5k for the month. back than it was the right decision, cause i didnt consider myself a pro, but looking back now it was just plain stupid.

i am exactly the same. if im losing i play like 50-60k hands a month at 4-6 tables. if i am winning i play like 10-20k hands a month

also if your interested in props to getting to 25/50 by October, i'm down

hey everyone, some short news from me before i go to the gym. Once again alone coz this nerdy addict next to me is just playing warcraft or poker and his "relax" is watching a film/serial when he is tired. I would be surprised if it turned out he spends less than 15h every single day behind a comp.

Ok, so Blg: was very nice, esp the weather, location, the whole area of Golden sands is like a separate country within another one which was protected from bomb attacks or sth. Varna and the nearest surrounding looks very poor and the standard of living compared even to central Europe seems a lot lower. Spent a lot of time on the beach, or just having sightseeings in the vicinity of Varna. Pobiti kamani.. sth like a Rocky forrest place was very interesting, aslo doplhin show @ dolhinarium. Still dont know how these 5m high stones got there:

Ofc our 5star hotel was very cool with many services for free, like gym or everyday parties.. everyone was kind, and the pool just in front was where most of the ppl enjoying the sun for majority of days:

(shot from our balcony):

the biggest drawbacks: no ppl that would go partydancing with me, internet was atrocious, cgs that run were very rarely above 2/5 or 5/5, when there was 5/10 it was incredibly nitty and it broke up even before i could get there.. i just played ~8h altogether making 2.5k€ by dominating the tables.

just 1 thing: MTT plrs are EXTREMELY WEAK when it comes to deep play. And ofc i bought in for max, 2k right away, so some terrorizing started pretty quick with 3betting, 4betting and sqeezing relentlessly both preflop and on F, which lead to ppl abs misplaying their hands. Of all ppl are played vs, (abt 20) there was just 1 who somehow tried to fight back.. should have played more + will maybe travel along some EPTs in the future.. i didnt rly have a mood for the most part though, coz for some reasons i got purpose of life orientated questions again so i just spent few hours observing the sunfall/sunrise from the lifeguards' places on the beach instead.

Now am back, still havent played even 1k hands this month overall, but should start soon.

@Ivan: dont make such longterm goals, and pls dont sit 15h/day at comp and if u don, play some Quakelive with me next time!! are u afraid?!?

@all other abt Ivan: he WILL be NL1k reg by the end of the next month thats almost for sure. so yea, NL100-NL1k in 3months.. wish i had such a good coach as he has back in my times :P Tbh tho, i ve just did most job during first few days last month, now he is gaing ton of exp and confidence mostly just on his own and can think much more analitcally without any prodding from my side. But yea, looking forw to analysing w him abt regs when he gets higher. should be more than fun _love:

lol, ivan get out the fucking house

its summer time, your country is producing some crazy hot summer tracks each year (after romania ofc), so go out partying and start dancing ;)

How good is Quakelive? I haven't played any of those games seriously in a long time. Is it comparable to Warsow?
