after long session running incredibly bad today (-2.5k$, -1k ev) i decided i need some rl. knowing what a stingy student TLN is the only way to make him come with me to the cinema was to invite him obv. so we watched Predators which is usual action movie and after it ended the first comment from Jozef was "pretty standard action movie line - bet bet, then on the river you shove villain tanks and folds"

Despite the nice holidays in Bulgaria and Germany i had recently i found myself a little bit depressed at the fact I run quite below EV for the last 20k hands, lost 6-7k mostly because of bad play and seem to run bad in other aspects of life as well...
Anyhow at the end of the day i realize how fortunate i am and i still make more money even only from my rb, than my friends who work jobs they dont like, and that is after playing bad, running bad and being mediocre at poker.
Variance is a bitch, but working 9-5 a job i dont like is even worse. Im gratefulll for my breakeven stretches or downswings because they make me realize how good is life!

Weeeee, sick mindset! If you can think like that even during downswings, there's absolutely nothing in poker (or life really) to beat you. All the best and good luck capturing the EV-line!
Ivan you will only get better at handling downswings, they are natural, nobody can stop them. Your mindset is good for now but maybe could get brought down by others.... Keep your head up, move down a limit for easy moneyz and come back with confidence and with more moneyz!

today we had some very nice exp with travelling around BA for few hours. I must tell: THE BEST DAY IN MY LIFE concerning RL (by far prolly) .. total heater. Ivan to report soon, i take a shower, dont want to be showing off myself, tho feel super boosted to manage things around me much better.

i dont really care so much about EV, but realizing i play bad is devastating for my mood.

well i tried to move to nl200 to gain some confidence but there i spewed so much it was unbelievable:D. Anyway yesterday i continued with 400 and with TLN sweating me i regained so much of my confidence (ofcourse +2k session helps as well 
)
I was kinda pissed at TLN that he is still complete RL fish and hardly trying to improve and just procrastinating anything RL related. I forced him to call several estate agency and arrange meeting with them. The first call was a pain because i had to explained every question he must ask and what he must tell but after this he was the true RL shark and with super confidence he arranged several other meetings. GJ
Today we had very busy day. We were out almost all day long viewing different apartments and honestly when u are capable of paying 1k for a rent there are so many choices that it is almost impossible to decide.
I must admit that TLN arranged completely everything today and spoke by himself with every single person we met (more than 10). I was just staying silent nearby asking few questions from time to time.
Here are top choices so far:
Choice 1
- moderate price
- center of the city so basically there is everything nearby
- very good and big park nearby where u can relax after downswings 
- vegetable and fruit market across the street (fresh and cheap fruits everyday!)
- Super specious living room where we can have our setups together with enough area for relaxation! The bedrooms are incredible, one of them is with its own room-wardrobe and the other one is with this huge mirror wardrobe.
Choice 2
- Little bit higher price
- Complete new development located in a very calm location near the river Danube but far from the city centre/big shopping malls or markets and generally anything social EXCEPT that 200 metres from here starts the dormitory area of the biggest university in BA (a loooooot of young horny girls ! ♠_cool:)
- A simple but pretty cheap place to eat healty food and a small pub to meet all the drunk blond student girls ♠_cool:
- A LOT of different sports available because of the students nearby - beach volleyball, basketball/football/volleyball fields, gym, kayak club in Danube river
Here is a picture of the area around the development. Incredibly nice and relaxing place, after sick downswing i can just get my towel and lay on this grass gazing the skies all day.
Choice 3
I cannot say much because we will see this place tomorrow but just from the photos we decided it is our third choice
- Expensive but super ballerish place
- two luxury bedrooms, living room + dining room + kitchen, third room just for our setups
After seeing the last flat we decided to go back home walking near the river Danube. I am not sure how the conversation about swimming in the river started but having competitive spirits we agreed on the following bet:
I have time till the end of 2011 to prepare and swim across river Danube. I can wear only body suit and i will be accompanied by a boat for safety reasons. If i accomplish this i win 2500 euros and if during the swim i go back or the people onthe boat help me i have to pay TLN 500 euros..
According to Google the average span of Danube river at Bratislava is about 319 meters. Eazy game imo, Ship it!

@apartments: no idea about the third, so will just comment on 1st & 2nd.. If the 1st one is not in a new developments, go for it... New development almost always suck regarding to:
1. location (you can fuck everywhere else, but getting some groceries may piss you off every second day^^)
2. there's hardly any privacy, because everything is made just to save every fucking cent on anything available, including thin walls, etc... I doubt you'd have problem with that, but your neighboors def will once you move in 
3. some other details but previous two are more important
(these are some of the reasons why we were skipping all new developments when we were looking for a new apartment a month ago - and we wont ever move to something like this again^^)
If you get refurbished spacious topfloor apartment in old building, you can expect great location (if u pay for it), half meter width walls and no surprises regarding to construction mistakes...
just my 2 cents
btw: I thought you already have a new apartment...
