6 tabling cont. is for me 30-40/hour. Bad is, that i dont have motivation to play more than 30min in row.
This was reason why i try 16-18 tabling in sets. One set just take 20 min. max. After this you can go smoke or start another one _biggrin:.
You can't now determine my true roi with 16ts, because i have just 700 games played. If you look at my graph, you will see when i start play sets (-35BI swing) :f_mad:. I have too many missclicks yet, but i thing that my ROI will be same as before.

6t 5% ROI 30-40/hour < 16t 4,5%ROI 48-54/hour
boring < funny

TIP: try to start one set 10-16 games at time. Until 9th table play tile (2min). With 9+ tables switch to stack(8min). With only 8tables left, back to tiled. Its not as hard as it looks:). GL

I believe when it's over 20BI's it's pronounced "schwongg"

Been at a party this afternoon and when I got home I had a think about last nights play. Had a look at a few winning regs today and compared their games to mine in my HEM db... Yowzer, I've been on auto pilot and my games gone rotten. So I spent a couple of hours game reviewing, sngWizing and looking at my ranges from each postion. Prepared for a few games now, played 25 already in a stack of 8 continuously and felt pretty comfortable so I'm gonna try for a longer session now - maybe just over an hour of continuous play so I can get an idea of how many I can fit in/hr playing this way.

Back in an hour or so....

A schwongg is a swing that lasts for a long time,
Anything below 400games is just a swong and a small swing <100 games is called a Shwort

EDIT - works out at ~50games/hour 8 tabling.
ROI=4% $10.6+$4rb = $14.6/hr
ROI=6% $15.9+$4rb = $19.9/hr

Ok so I'm a little happier with how I played tonight. Still not running well though and it's a little frustrating that in the last week I've played 649 games for a loss of $14. It's not all down to how I'm running though and that has become very clear to me after tonights review.

Going to take my daughter out for a walk tommorrow here...

... should be fun ! I'll crack on with the reviewing when I get home and do another 100 game day - got the Rush Week Freeroll to play too.

Thanks for clearing this one up. I still feel 27BI's over 140 games is schwonggy :f_mad:

Great day, bloody knackered tho ! Got the $50k Rush Freeroll in 30 mins and want to put in some more super turbo's, this life may kill me... I've not really stopped since 7AM and my poker hasn't even started yet. I'll be back after midnight with my report !

Crashed out of the Rush MTT in ~3500th in true pro style Check Raise-4bet shove TP no kicker. Beaten by TP some kicker - lolaments no patience for it

BUT...

51 games @ 37.1%ROI = $100 day - Whoop whoop ! My body is too trashed to play anymore and for 1.5hours I really can't expect to do much better so I'll finish a great day on a high note and try to put in some "real" volume tommorrow.

Decided to play for 100FTP's yesterday after another long day but fancied mixing in a couple of MTT's in with my Super Turbo's.

Daily Dollar - 122/4770 for $9.85 profit
$10 Early Antes - 30/1308 for $28.24 profit
45 Super Turbo's - 20%ROI for $48 profit

Another good day, really could've done a lot better in the MTT's though. Made some criminal plays but had a good run in both. Back to Super Turbo's, going for 100 games tonight which will take me past 1500 games.

I'm so lame, I didn't even make it to 1500 games. Turdbags. I'll be back tommorrow for flagellation and subsequent improved volume.

What goals you have for next month?
What is your BRM for ST?

Sorry for some loose calls from me. Its just my playstyle vs. known regs:).

Hey Akwed, don't apologise ! You call loose, then I must adjust !

Goals for next month will be more volume based now I'm back into the swing of things, probably 25 days @ 100 games for IronMan as a bare minimum, I'd really like to play double or triple that (5000-7500/month) but think it's too far fetched.

BRM - I'm gonna step up at $1000, maybe throw a few BI's at the $10.50's at $750. I'm making withdrawals every Friday at the moment though for some of my profit, I'm pretty happy playing these stakes for another couple of weeks at least.

whow 5-7.5k per month.
If you make it, that you will be on the top of ladder on FT.
I have 2.3k games and a have 3k points => 7.5k = 10k point = 10+ BI!!

Next week i will try 10s. I have 30-40BI for first try (full BR 110BI). I will report you, if there is any difference in skill level.

Yea, I'd like to hear how you get on moving up. The best players at $5.30 are getting 10%ROI+ over 1000's of games whereas at $10.50 it seems to be 4 - 7%. I wish you the best of luck !

As for the 5k-7.5k games it would mean 25 playing days at 200-300 games. I manage 50/hour 8 tabling now so it's 4-6hours. I don't think I have the discipline to play like that but for one month I would like to try and do a mad grind like that and see how close I come. I'll stick with 2500 for now !

My 1st session today, 16BI's down in 26 games then a mad rush. The swings seem so much worse in the 6man, I'm thinking I might not even take shots at 750...

Pretty crazy couple of days swing wise. I got $50 rakeback today which is the most since I've been playing at full tilt. Decided I'd have a few shots at $10.50 throughout the day, so 3 with my early session (2nd, 1st, 4th) then I thought I'll play some later on. So the evening started and boom - 8 tabling $5.30's for an hour and I'm 18BI's down. Have a break, take a breather come back for hour no.2 - down another 14BI's.

Do you continue when you've just dropped 32BI's in 90 SNG's ? Well I certainly wasn't going to be taking anymore shots... so I cracked on for another 1.5 hours got back to a nice profit for the day and saw that I only needed 34 more points for my 2nd 500FTP day in the month so... quick break and 10 $10.50's - 4 Tabling. 1x1st 2x2nd 7xFail

Another rollercoaster but with rakeback I'm up $50 for the day and $350 for the week. Not sure about anymore shots for now cause I don't feel too comfortable and played my set way too tight. I'll play it by ear and see what the next week brings.

July Goals
[x] Don't set unrealistic goals
[x] Don't take things so seriously and get back to enjoying poker

Well I'm certainly enjoying the grind. Unfortunately early in the month I played HU cash games outside BRM and lost pretty big (anyone fancy a giggle PTR me!). I played rush poker during rush week and it took up valuable ST time and a little more of my BR. I played $10.50 ST's when I'm not rolled for them with the intention of quitting if it didn't go well which I did but only after losing ~10BI's, ~20BI's for $5.30. The 2nd half of the month though was without a doubt my most focussed and successful since I started playing again last December. So, for motivational purposes here is the graph of the $5.30's this month, all 1837 of them.

New month
New goals
New blog name

I decided that because the statistical anomoly has dissipated which led me to naming my blog "I Don't Like Mondays" that it's time for a new name.

I give you.... (drum roll)

! SHOVE IT !

I has no postflop skillz so I just shove it, for hours a day I shove, shove, shove

August Goals
:spade: Become IRONMAN This means playing 96 tournaments on 25 days of the month so...
:spade: Play 2400 $5.30 6-Man Super Turbo's
:spade: Don't play $10.50's until my roll is 75BI's for them
:spade: Use my free month on Cardrunners effectively
:spade: Continue to work on my HU game

I would say with my current state of mind and motivation the volume goal will not be a problem. Ironman requires something a little different than raw volume though, it's consistency throughout the month which I may struggle with. I'm up for the challenge though and have a really strong feeling that this month will be somewhat of a breakthrough for me and that I may, with some good fortune be able to move up to the $10.50's. Fingers Crossed.
