Don't you think you clearly have a problem of wanting to put in too much volume to get rakeback at FT or FPP's at Stars, rather than improving your game and this is being reflected on your results?

Yeah that happens a lot, as soon as I focus on earning points and clearing up bonuses I start to loose.

yes i think wanting to put some volume really kills a part of the skill (many tables etc.) i am currently thinking what is the best (and most profitable way) for me to play.

just played 36 x280 fpps qualifiers (10080 FPP) and actually made 187$ out of them. it comes to a rate of 0.01855 it's even better than the best bonus !

By playing those sats and winning you get the equivalent of $0.039 x FPP way better than any bonus on the store.

hey man, by the sounds of things, you have the exact same problem i have, you get bored easily playing a specific game, and are always looking for a 'quick buck' hence why you moved to mtt's when you friend had a good cash in one...

you need to change your focus from trying to make SN to actually being a winning player... if u want to do it mass tabling, go for it, but pick a game it suits such as sng's or drop your tables right down to say 6 tables and play SSS. then once u've put in some volume, slowly build up tables and keep an eye on your win rate.

i know i've jumped around from BSS to SNG's, to HUSNG, to DoN's, to PLO, to LHE, to SSS... variety is the spice of life, but at the end of the day u need to pick a game and work at it to get good.

also, in stars, you can restrict what tables you want to play, mine is currently set to not allow me to play any cash tables above NL25, and i cant play any sng above $1...

hope this helps, good luck man!

In the beginning of July i proposed myself on a quebec poker forum to make some house cleaning or any other job in exchange of live poker coaching, one of my msn friend (that is now a real good friend) that play nl100-nl200 , i am now one of his student and i am officially a winner at NL25 fullstack 6 max (3PTBB+ winner). but i do clean his house once every 2 weeks

i play a really lag style (28-23 / 9% 3bet) on PS and i am really out of the normal pokerstar field because multitablers are reallllly nit, i now only play 6 to 9 tables at the time i will try to make UGL ( http://www.pokertableratings.com/ultimate-grinder/0.10-0.25/2010-07 ) this will be 4 BI per day for the whole month i will go for supernova only not more because the money i make from nl25 is way more that what i make shortstacking and living off rakeback

i will update each day in july toward my goal of the UGL badge

it's been a while ! i now update more often on FPPPro

i currently have 89,018 VPP and will hit supernova around November 7th, i have played alot of type of poker in the last months. i have passed trough fullstacking, sng, hu sng and even more, but i have decided to play SS again as this is my best game.

i don't play any push/shove anymore i raise normally at 2,5bb (fr) or 2bb(6m) and make around 1.50PTBB/100 at NL50. in a day i pass trough so many emotions ! it's simply sick how i can feel when i lose 10 flips in a row then i feel correct when i come back even.

i will keep you updated guys.

here is my last month :( and my day

Hey man, read your blog, interesting stuff.
It made me realised that most of us fail on first serious downswing and give up on SSS.
I crushed nl25 with 6bb/100 and very soon after goin on nl50 I got stricekd with 50bi downsing, which lasted for 25k hands.
Most of the time my EV was in positive, than I began to tilt for last 3k hands, and at the end my EV was on -150 while my actualy earnings were on -650$. Nasty shit.
You can check some of it in my blog

Hopefully it will take some time for both of us before it comes again.

You can add me to skype, and we can talk /sweat sometimes.
My skype is : asmirovic.
