Hi,

Which of the following hands did beat you?
QQ
TQ
T8

Nope I couldnt fold it, but it's almost always some sort of the nuts :f_p:.

just bet\bet\bet, whats the problem? Facing agression i would def thinking about folding on blank cards, cos trips with no kicker doesnt have much diference between TPTK actually.
And as played i raise more turn cos he have incredible implieds vs u with all the draws.
river tough. Sizing cries for nuts but im not folding cos now we are beaten only by QQ, TQ and T8 which is just 7 combos maximum. And doubt its bluff but i cant discount it totally. And he still hold all Tx, 88,9J (though its not the best play from him with this hands)

No problem - just that i'm a :f_confused:

T8o...

come on Tim... After he min 3bet the turn that's a turbo fold on the river.

pot flop, you can fold turn, every day a Full house,J9 or a better T.

mhmm this is really tough fold but also a big leak to call such big overbet on river. It´s always the nuts and you have only one of the smallest possible FH.

I have a principle that I almost never call all-in big overbets on river - just want to teach the guys that I will not pay them off I call it just with the nuts to balance my game _biggrin: :f_love:

First of all I like to raise preflop, I don't raise any2, but imo T6o is playable IP with a lot of foldequity.

As played bet $2 on the flop for value.

As played raise to $8 on the turn for value. Once he min3bets I think we have a somewhat easy call, our line looks bluffy and he doesn't represent much.
On the river I also fold. It's not an easy fold, but you have to consider that if he does not have Tx he can blufbet $35 and have the same effect as if he shoved, but more important: he will be afraid of you having Tx, you raise/called the turn so it's definitely in your range.
Since even the FD busted I highly doubt anybody is trying to bluff you off of trips.
If he's betting for value with Tx against Qx or other pairs shoving also makes no sense.
So considering all this he is obviously betting for value against Tx or a weak full house.
Therefore we can fold.
