thank you for nice words, asmirovic :)

If you play MT Sngs, than i'm looking forward for a sweat session. I wouldn't do it for STT's cause i totally suck at them

I'm always wondering why people play SSS. It seems such a robotic play. Do you just like it or you play it only because it's most profitable type for you?

dunno why i'm still not playing today but was browsing car pictures. It's just sick what $ can do

Bentley Continental GT, BMW M5, Mercedes Benz S600, Lamborghini Murcielago

Wouldn't it be cool to have chromed Lambo or Chrome/Gold S class Mercedes?

omfg, it's so unbelievable......

played 11$ deep stack MTT (5k starting chips, 30min blind levels). 1361 entrants.
Just got ITM, we were down to 190 players. Had a very nice stack and then this _mad: _frown::

No Limit Holdem Tournament
PokerStars
8 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com
$10+$1

Stacks:
UTG getsolid (83,985)
UTG+1 arab71 (56,290)
MP1 PlayaJayCo (52,980)
MP2 rocko1957 (91,639)
CO Hero (47,071)
BTN aLJ0 (34,333)
SB paulroxx (54,322)
BB kinkyxchink (149,368)

Blinds: 400/800 Ante 75

Pre-Flop: (1,800, 8 players) Hero is CO K♥ K♣
getsolid says "obv", 1 fold, arab71 raises to 6,400, 2 folds, Hero goes all-in 46,996, 2 folds, kinkyxchink calls 46,196, arab71 goes all-in 56,215, kinkyxchink calls 9,219

Flop: 4♦ A♦ J♦ (160,426, 3 players, 2 all-in)

Turn: 2♠ (160,426, 3 players, 2 all-in)

River: 7♦ (160,426, 3 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: 160,426
kinkyxchink shows a pair of Nines
9♠ 9♥
arab71 shows a flush, Ace high
K♦ K♠
Hero shows a pair of Kings
K♥ K♣

arab71 wins 160,426 (net +104,136)

kinkyxchink lost 56,290
Hero lost 47,071

It would be ok to lose vs AA, but this, so sick. I have done no major mistakes, maybe few small ones. Could say played my best ever game here and this....

I'm of for a search of a car which would be sicker than this _mad:

ugh, that hand was a huge test of me, but i didn't tilt on other tables, so it's cool :) took me few minutes to recover, lol :f_biggrin: (also found a car, see at bottom ;) ). I can say that i really liked the slow blind structure, so much space to recover after losing a big pot :) Had a bit of rollercoaster for first hours, was down to 1.2k chips, went up to 12k, down to 3k and then finally build nice stack till busted. I'm looking forward to building up my BR, so that i'll be able to play more of these and also at higher stakes :)

So, since the September is already over, it's time to sum up results :)

Wow, quite big image And also, it's time to update goals :)

Short-Term Goals:

:diamond: Have >20% ROI at 1$ Turbo 45mans COMPLETED
:diamond: Move up to 2$ Turbo 180man until September 1st COMPLETED
:diamond: Achieve GoldStar status on PokerStars COMPLETED
:diamond: Join training site for SnG's players COMPLETED
:diamond: Watch more videos about MT Sngs ONGOING
:diamond: Achieve >10% ROI at 6$ Turbo 45s ONGOING
:diamond: Move up to 12$ Turbo 45s ONGOING

Long-Term Goals:

:club: Reach Medium Stakes (36$ Turbo 180man and 38$ Turbo 45man)
:club: Beat Medium Stakes shark biggrin
:club: Keep improving my game all the time

Very-Long-Term Goals:

 Buy a Brand New Car with $ won from Poker

And there you go, not as sick as that hand, but it's cool _cool: (could say that Nissan 370z in previous page is way ahead of a hand in terms of being sick :f_biggrin: )

Nissan Silvia S14a

Oh, superb wheels, black & red = nuts :f_biggrin:

And also, for those who haven't seen Ken Block's newest video:

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!

Hello mates,

haven't played a lot today. Was in a cinema in the evening and later watched a movie at home, so it consumed quite much of the time :) Saw "Buried", kinda strange movie, it's about a man in a box no special effects, no interesting action, all 90 minutes shows the man who's buried in coffin by some Iraqi, who wants 5m$ ransom :) but well, it's kinda interesting, makes you think. But it's not worth going to cinema, i'd better watch it at home ;)

And getting back to poker, came up with a leak in my mindset, i thought that i'm not results-oriented, but this was only illusion. The main idea of being not results-oriented makes a grinder be improvement-playing his A game-oriented. Illusion broke when i started my first set and when i was down to one table, i thought, "f** it, let's fire up 24 tables and get faster to the upswing". Kinda straight-forward results-oriented thinking, lol :)

I found it quite difficult to not think about $. So, i was thinking about some kind of penalty for every bad play i make. Something like 0,1$/mistake and all these penalties would go to some kind of "frozen" BR. This would mix results-oriented and not results-oriented play, because my results would highly depend on how good i played.

Comments/suggestions about mine idea for penalties are more than welcome ;)

Nissan GT-R R34

comment on this picture was: "Did anybody even notice blue Skyline?" yeah, girl is not bad, but my eyes were still leaning towards Skyline, lol :f_biggrin: (i'm not gay :f_biggrin: )

about your goals :) >15 % ROI in 6.5 $ if you will manage with this with sample size 2000 it will be good work !

i think, i overestimated myself a bit with this goal :) i just copy/pasted it now and forgot to lower it a bit, just standart fishy overestimation while on a heater i'm not telling that it's unachievable, but it needs a huge work imo, so i'll be happy with >10% but, ofc, will try to get it as huge as possible :) i'll probably bring it back to 15% if i'll have >20% ROI at 3$ games with >2k sample :)

My current volume is joke 24-36 games/day, lol but well, my volume on improvement has really improved :) on average, it's something like 1hour/day for this month(lol, 5days, what a sample ). I'm planning to keep it up. Played a bit with ICM for final table and i feel that my game there is far from perfect, but at some spots it just feels that ICM is way too tight. But well, since i now get only 2-4 tables when i'm at final table somewhere, i have a lot more time to think about decisions and i feel that my endgame is really better when i play sets, not succesive sessions :)

And some more good news. Looks like i'm on a heater again(see below)

btw, for some reasons, sharkscope's graph looks much more nice for me rather than top shark. Probably because width is smaller, so upswings seem bigger

Nissan S15

Like some girls (boys also ) have collections of shoes, i will probably have collection of wheels _cool:

Nice cars, as always

About result-oriented play : i found myself also having some result oriented leaks.. it appears when things not going as well as it should go, and this is how i am dealing with it now: 1. i swithched the winning/loosing row collor off on HEM(options->seetings). so when i analyze my hands red/green collor don't touch my feelings anymore, i feel happy when i know that i played well. So i can focuse on my play improvement withaut thinking about $. 2. i decided to check my cashier once/week or once/two weeks.(i think this result checking day will be sunday or monday)
Now all my thoughts are directed to play better then my opponents, and improve ofc.. Hope it will help ;)

Hi :) nice blog and nice results so far!
I'm currently trying to switch from STTs to SNG/MTTs (playing mostly 45man atm), and i was wondering which videos you were watching cause there aren't many on pokerstrategy (3 180 man videos by aaron lambert, a few ones on 45 man in french).
Did you suscribe to a training site or something to find more videos about sng/mtt?
btw, if you wanna do some sweat sessions/hand swap I'd be glad to.
I think talking about hand ranges etc can lead to great improvement rather than randomly plugging spots into sng wizard which is of course necessary but not very motivating :)

what about 1.5 k games ?:)

@bosow: i've watched videos on other site, but you can try searching torrent trackers ;)

@Varunklis: i'd better do it on longer period with bigger volume, 1,5k games will have too much luck involved imo :)
