I can't imagine this opponents to have a lot of 8x combinations in their calling range. Raising the flop isolate you against better hands, so calling the flop is fine. I would probably bet/fold the turn myself. HU I like checkbehind the turn and calling any riverbet or valuebet myself.

What are your thoughts about his donkbet? Only 8x and 66 or you you think he can also hold 99+?

Hi,

I'd probably bet the turn myself when SB checks, and then assuming MP2 folds and SB still jams I'd hate it.

As played I like your fold, SB's stats already say he's calling too much so he can have 8x there with medium suited connectors, and given his line frankly I think he had you beat right from the flop, so in a sense you not betting make you save some money (which MP2 lost for you :)).

Hope it helps.
