i think i raise/fold pre or fold it depending on our opponent.
as played folding the turn looks fine. His turn pot bet looks like "OMG i have the nuts, how do i get it all in now"
Yeah, raise or fold preflop.
If you had raised preflop I'd probably shove the flop after his raise. Now much more tricky since he has some hands that actually beat you (43, 94, 93). I think shove is probably good anyways since there plenty of worse nines and some draws.
Limp/betting is fine imo against the correct opponent. I play postflop the same way, I don't think he often takes this line with worse.

its very thin 3bet shoving flop.. so i like flat and re-eval his turn line. folding to this bet looks good on this turn
so what are we hoping for - he has a draw, or a worse nine and is overdoing it ?
I'm asking because in such a situation I'd gladly give away my flop bet but maybe that's too fishy so elaboration would come in useful.

well. we are calling to re-evaluate. the board is so dry that he really doesnt have many hands in his range that would play it like this. often people will raise like this with pure air. so we will re-evaluate the turn based on his bet sizing. usually if he bets small we can c/c on most turns because really we are either way ahead way behind in this spot. so we want to pot control and just see what his turn bet is.
when he pots it... its quite apparent that we have little FE, and our hand value really shrinks. so we can just c/f, but if he checks behind then we can safely assume our top pair is good on most rivers.
we are hoping that he is doing this as a bluff, or with worse pairs. no real draws are out there so thats not really in his range.
just folding flop to his raise is fine, if you think he will double barrel big with bluffs, or if hes a tight player who shouldnt be raising with worse.
