My noob friend and PS member Phisherman36 just won the 4k guaranteed tourney and got 1170$ for it. He is a bit shy but hoping to receive a notorious Puschkin interview.

The first place would do miracles to my constant downswing.
But he should not take that $1170 for granted, he should still learn a lot and eventually those 1st places will be quite common for him, I suppose

Btw, how many MTT's have you tried before winning this one? And how did you do on those?
i'm pretty sure i didn't play more than 30MTT since i'm playing poker online... but i can't say an exact number...
i have also placed #2 in a 2k$ gtd (6$ buyin) a few days ago which was a 420$ prize or so... but i have been doing rly bad in cash games so it balances up
1st time it might work without registering...

i didnt count the small speed omaha 2$ buyin tournaments i played when i said 30 MTTs since those were just some crapshoots where skill wasn't involved too much
but still it looks like i played more than 30 normal MTTs ... i guess i lost the count they rly seemed less than 30

really happy to hear romanians are doing well at tournaments .. i guess it's my turn to win a big tourney 
placed #9 in a 18k$ Gtd (55$ buyin) last night
the prize was 450$ but i was kinda disappointed since the prizes were getting really bigger with each place at the final table and the first place was 6800$
when we started the final table it felt like a deja-vu, again i was the shortest stack there...
hand where i got eliminated i was all-in with pocket aces and got cracked by pocket 6
i'm gonna win it today though ♦
