There are more cash game players here than SnG players, thats the main reason. Maybe in future dude ;)

Btw. I found in other thread here on PS.com link on this very nice deck, I like it

Be carefull if you use Table Ninja. Usually it has some problems with table mods.. At least in FT.

Interesting hand today:

Full Tilt Poker $11 + $1 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t200/t400 Blinds - 4 players - View hand 1049896
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Hero (BTN): t5595 13.99 BBs
SB: t4180 10.45 BBs
BB: t2540 6.35 BBs
CO: t1185 2.96 BBs

Pre Flop: (t600) Hero is BTN with Q :spade: 7 :spade:
1 fold, Hero raises to t5595 all in, SB calls t3980 all in, 1 fold

Flop: (t8760) 7 :club: 2 :club: Q  (2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: (t8760) 5 :diamond: (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: (t8760) 9 :spade: (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: t8760
Hero shows Q :spade: 7 :spade: (two pair, Queens and Sevens)
SB shows T :diamond: T :spade: (a pair of Tens)
Hero wins t8760

SB is a good reg called "VideoPokerPro". He seems fairly solid. He tanked for a fucking age before calling with his TT. I thought it was a JJ+ call at first but then did the Wizard analysis and it's actually TT+ if BU is pushing anything above 80%.. and i was on ATC there so.. yeah. Very nice call sir

Maybe he ran it through an ICM calculator to see if he could play TT vs your perceived range ;). Great time to suck out though vs big stack the others had no chance afterwards:D

its a static range. calling a BS on the bub when hes on atc and there is a SS around. its always 99/TT/JJ/QQ/KK/AA.

sometimes you have to drop 99 if you are on the btn. but its a static range and a very easy one to remember

Oh, cool. Well it was an intereting hand to play with in Wiz... if I put myself on only 85% TT suddenly becomes a bad call.

yeh but its such a snap atc spot .. so he can be pretty confident ur always on atc so his range is really well defined. but interesting to note against a lot of fish JJ might even become a fold

Well, it's monthly review time again. I've never really done a monthly wrap-up as such, so this could be interesting/rambling. :P

November was a pretty decent month. Not as good for me as September/October, but anyway. Volume was somewhat limited because of exams for the first two weeks, but also due to far too much time spent playing Black Ops / Minecraft. I'm just pretty slack.
I think I might be a bit too picky with my table selection, too. Currently I use the fact that there is like.. ONE other reg on the $12s as an excuse to go play Minecraft instead of grind; I don't think I'm going to get anywhere with this mindset. I have to start regging over the top of one (occasionally two) other regs if I want to get in some real volume. Obviously these are all considerations for next year, as I'm going overseas on the 6th so I won't be grinding SnGs while I'm in Germany. I might take my laptop and mess around with a bit of NL5 BSS if I feel like it, and I'll try to stay active in the forums.

Here's my graph for November:

As you can see, crap volume. At about 170 games I had a coaching with <3 which flicked the boomswitch for the end of the month

I should say thanks again to everyone who voted for me for Member of the Month earlier this month; and thanks to jb for nominating me. Unfortunately it seems that the sicko mid/high stakes cash grinders of europe are gonna take down MOTM pretty much every month. Our little SnG sub-community just can't compete in numbers :P

When I return from my epic overseas voyage (around 13th January), the plan is to keep focused on my poker but use my time more efficiently. That means no videogames during university semester, as well as less time pointlessly browsing the net. Poker time is poker time, and I am going to use it for either grinding or reviewing. I think next year I'd like to move up to the $24s within a few months, after I've done more reviewing and built my BR a little more.
Obviously this may not be possible, as workloads in Med school may be significantly higher than I expect; but I daresay I will have SOME time during the week to put towards furthering my SnG journey :)

Cheers all
Ged :diamond:

Eeesh. Good thing the only time i'm spending in sunny England is an 8hr stopover in Heathrow on the way home. That is, if you guys manage to get snow gone and the airport open by January :P
