$0.25/$0.50 Limit Hold'em - 9 players

Pre Flop: (1.4 SB) Hero is UTG+2 with A :diamond: K
UTG raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 6 folds, UTG calls

Flop: (7.4 SB) T :spade: 2 :spade: 8 :diamond: (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero calls
Should I R here?

Turn: (4.7 BB) T  (2 players)
UTG bets, Hero folds

Final Pot: 4.7 BB
UTG wins 4.5 BB

think for yourself. whats the advantage and disadvantage of raising here?

advantage:
-a really weak villain might even fold (unlikely)
-maybe a freecard on the turn

disadvantage:
-he could easily 3bet which youll have to call and that makes your OCs expensive
-he may fold weaker hands, as long as he leads out he valuebets for you
-you will isolate yourself vs better hands

a raise doesnt make much sense here. the flop is pretty drawheavy with lots of flush and straightdraws, you could still have the best hand and even the turn is a nobrainer-call. plus the standard-line with made-hands would be call flop raise turn so your flopraise would seem incredibly weak against a thinking tag.

Hi!

Calldown is the way to go unless you have a read that he is donking only good hands.Since he is UTG I would expect him to do this with Ahighs, some pockets, and some overcard +FD combos...therefore your equity is fine.

Raise may not actually be that bad here since I think he will not 3bet anything else than a Tx so you may do it for freeSD.However in such spots its often wrong to raise because you are not able to fold to 3bet having up to 6 outs. And there is another problem he may call and then donk river again where you again cannot fold.
