Hi lessthanthree!
I'm from the portuguese community and have been following you. Just want to question why do you prefer the turbos over the regulars SNG?

Cheers and good luck to all.

i also think going through an entire game or two will help.

Been following your blog from the beginning more or less, you inspire me everytime to keep on playin and improving (hopefully I'll get out of the micros some day..)!!.

I wanted to ask how do you mark the hands? Do you write down the hand nr, or do it in any other way?

hi there!

I can play more turbos per hour which produces more rake-back and a higher over-all $/hr. I have recently started adding in some soft normal speeds into my sets when the turbos are reg infested. They are still very +EV especially if you have a good post-flop game. But I feel my $/hr is higher playing mainly turbos.

hi there! glad you like the blog.

I use holdem-manager. there is a feature to mark hands in this program :)

And you keep your ROI higher on turbos? I think is more dificult to be more profitable on turbos than regulars, but I actually suck on the push-fold phase so yeah.

my real roi would be higher on normal speeds because there are more opportunities to utilise my edge. but playing more turbos with the extra rake-back will produce a higher $/hr for me, even if my roi is lower on those games. not exactly sure what my real roi is on the normals yet, only have a small sample at the moment.

What ROIs you achieve on 60+ stakes? (turbos) Not planning to ever play them, but it's interesting to know :) And how much average runtime differs between turbo and regular speeds?

Have you moved out of the $36's now? Good news for me if so

Hmm then I will probably try to play some turbos either, but I'm not sure that I can beat them. I'm beeing very profitable on the regs and because I'm not a massive multitabler I dont know if it will result for me.

Cheers

my adjusted roi on the 60s is about 7% 3k sample. think normals are about 15mins longer on avg.

7% on the 60's _o:
I don't think I've seen that kind of ROI on stars... Are the 60's that much softer on FT or are you just some kind of halfgod?

He should be talking about turbos :f_o:

Also, <3 said that his sample on normals is small, tho 3k sample only on 60s is not that small sample imo :)

Hi! You mentioned a few times in the forum that turning off the red line at HEM is better. Wanna ask why? Because you think it's inaccurate and tells little about your game or just for psychological reasons?

well yes it is innacurate. but it will still be a very good indication of your true roi. of course its not perfect but its pretty good imo.

i turn it off because its only useful over large samples. so i ignore it until i get decent sample. 1k games +

what I've never understand is that you rather look at the green line (the line with actual winnings) when that actually gives you a worse image of your actual roi and is overall a worse information than the green line..

I do understand that it has a bad psychological affect on some people to "run bad" and some people even get affected in a bad way when the "get lucky"... These people are obviously not thinking in a logical way.. And I think based on everything you've posted that your a really logical person that still believes in karma =) ( actually I do believe there are logical explanations that result in similar way as karma... If your a bad person you most likely get treated as a bad person.. but you know that's just me being off topic)

I do agree with taking the red line too seriously is probably worse than having it at all.. but I rather turn of my green line than turning of my red line..

yeah you are right hlynkinn. but running bad realllllllly has a bad effect on my mental state. especially at high stakes where a std 20BI swing is close to 2.5k$.

i wish i had the strength not to look at results at all. but unfortunately i dont :( maybe one day
