Nice work!
How many SnG do you play per day?

I also have such blog, but it's in the Bulgarian community,so probably you won't understand anything. I think I should've created it here, probably I will move later.
My country is on 25th place in the beer's nations list and I see Russia after us.
So I guess we should be in another category with them
Vodka consumption for Russia and rakia consumption for Bulgaria.
Never been in Czech, but I would love to visit Prague and believe me - people know where is Czech, unlike Bulgaria.

Thanks!
I play around 50 SnGs / day, currently 6 tables. I tried 9, but that's too much for me now, I wouldn't have all important reads.

When I was little, there was a quiz on TV, in which Czech reporters asked Americans "do you know where Czech Republic is?" 90% responded Asia/Africa (wtf) and the other 10%, that knew at least something about Europe said: "Czech Republic? You mean Czechoslovakia?"

About rakia: how can you drink that? My friend from Serbia gave me a bottle of rakia and it almost killed me! Just kidding, it's not that bad :)

Yep and can you imagine that girls also drink this sometimes?
Regarding your question - when you have to pay money for alcohol, why not make a drink from fermented fruits. I have no clue how they got this idea, but it's genius.
Lack of money makes you creative, especially for alcohol.

Good luck on the tables. Once I have more time probably we can exchange some experience. :f_thumbsup:

Awesome run today...again. 6x my higher pair lost against a lower pair in push/fold phase (on the river mostly). Shortly after I started my session I lost about 70$ but in the end I managed to win some games and I am happy that I'm BE today.

Thanks! I invest a lot of time into poker (at least 5 hrs/day), so I'm happy that good results appeared. However, it's getting on my brain... for example two days ago I had a dream, that Chris Fergusson came to visit me, we went swimming and I had his hat on my head while we were swimming. Then I came home and I saw Gus Hansen on my neighbour's garden. He was shouting at me: Hey you! Throw me some gooseberries!" Today I had a dream, that there was a MTT in my village and I was sitting at a table with Patrik Antonius and he defeated my KKK with some crappy Ax.

I think I need a break!

I knew the day will come and it came. Downswing is here! -35BI during last week... suckouts, lost coinflips, I love that stuff. I had to withdraw 200$, because I had to pay for the internet connection 12 months in advance, so my br is only 180$. I moved down to 2$ turbos, but downswing continues even there _cry:

Another -25BI today, I'm feeling desperate, constantly losing flips, running into higher pairs.... I keep analyzing my game in wiz / nash calculator, but I dunno, I must be doin' somethin wrong :(

hey bro, thanks for posting on my blog :] :f_love:

Actually I am following your blog for a while and enjoy it a lot as it reminds me my poker starts with SnG strategies. Did not want to post though, as I enjoy you finding your way (e.g. you are doing much better in terms of psychology, I have not read poker mind set yet tbh and I should).

Anyway like your blog and stay in touch ;)

Hey Cornie, thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate that you follow my blog :)
About my psychology: it's not that great, I'm on downswing now and it sucks soo hard..I know that downswings just happen, but when I'm playing I expect the worst even when holding AA, and that's not good for my game. I should re-read the poker mindset at least 5 times.

don´t worry, you´ll be good again. :f_cool: Need to take it easy and just focus on quality of your play.

If you feel emotionally touched by the result, I do not play at all or go down a limit to feel comfortable - that´s what I learned even without poker mindset =) only the quality of your play matters longrun

Just keep grinding, and I'm sure the downswing will turn! Do you only play turbos? I wish I could play 50 sngs a day to, but playing normal speed, and just between practicing music, and work I'm very happy if I get more than 10 on a day!

I'll be following you:)

Hello!

Yesterday I went to this pub and it had Czech beer called Czechvar or something like that. For some reason I thought of you (Yea that sounds creepy I know) and I tried the beer. Nothing special imo I guess I just tasted the too common beer :). But man I gotta say Belgian beers are amazing.

Hi Steve,
I never heard of "Czechvar" but it might be Budvar and yeah it's quite average beer, I don't drink it at all, you should taste Pilsner Urquell :)

I'm no expert on mtt's but I think calling with 36o for ~10% of your stack looks pretty ugly... Pot odds are not as important as to how your gonna play this hand profitably :)

Anywhooooo nice blog I'll be keeping an eye on it in the future..
