I would like to thank Pokerstrategy for the 50$ and the good SSS articles. I am going through a stressfull time at work and badbeats got to me too much. So i planned not to play anymore for a while. I was playing 0.05/0.10 (starting overagain afther cashouts) BS-6 handed, SLAG and doing fine (10bb/100). Then afther after not playing for a day (well done baby, is there a doctor in the room?) i got the free money at Interpoker and couldnt help myself after reading the SSS articles here. The first day i lost $-17 dollars but i totally stuck to the strategy but was a little card dead. I had to fold 99, 4 times in EP.
To make a long story short, after making a deposit of $25 for the bonuses i ended up yesterday afther playing since 17 oktober at $303, clearing both bonuses of $25 and earning a 6BB/100 over 4000 hands. I think i fell in love wiht SSS ;D. I really decreased the stresslevel ofcourse since losing "only" $5 hurts relatvely less than $25, this doenst mean i didn't swear sometimes after a bad beat. In total this SSS was also very good for a better insight of how short stacks play and will help me in the future when i change my style.

Hope this will inspire people who just starting the SSS. I've cashout the money and tommorrow if there is a good bonus of course i will start again with $50 try to do the trick once again.

Hi Yoghurt1973!

Thanks for the compliment but why did you cashout to start again with $50? I recommend to read this article: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/news/content/Essay_00990

Well i read the article and its a good article but not new to me and play according to it. But thanx for the tip. There was however one thing that catched my eye, thats the call15 ruel. I'm at my sister in law at the moment and will read it later at home. Thanx.

I have a have a bankroll of 650 euro at the moment but i cash out sometimes, not to indulge myself. Bought a Nintendo DS light for my daughter that kind of things. But you are right i would have a bankroll of about 3000$ if would not have cashed out, since the start of my career at the beginning of this year. I never made a deposit and i would like to say if i might go bankrupt by mistake that i was a winning player, because i made a promise to myself never to make a deposit playing poker.

But i promise you, i dont have the intention to cashout and from now on when starting again on Interpoker i will not cashout and to try to climb up the ladder. I just like to have a backup when things go wrong. But i think its time to move up the ladder and take a serious shot to make some serous money.

Regards.

Ps. could you check up at my sister in laws account: Jasmin74 she passed the quiz 16th of october.

Ok, that sounds like a plan ;)

Concerning Jasmin74: She should have received an email (please check also the spam folder). We have to make an ID check. Please send a copy of her ID to security@pokerstrategy.com.

call15 rule is calling for set value. You have 66, and some dumb villain is slowplaying aces. You call, big bblind checks. What can happen on the flop?

1. 90% 3 cards that don't help you, aces guy bads big, you fold.
2. 10% 2 cards that dont help you, 1 6, aces guy bets big, and you suck him in, or, he folds at some place during the round.

Anyway, you have a good chance to win it all, but you fold if you have to call for 10%, because the chance that you suck your opponents in is not 100%, it's rather about 60-70%, which makes a call good if you can call for only 1/15 of your or your opponent's stack.

Puschkin, you talked me into it! ;) I've been thinking about it since my last post and i will make a stand. I'm going to deposit $200 since i want to challenge myself a bit. I will play on the 0.25/0.50NL on 3-4 tables and if there is little action i take a coulple of 0.15/0.25 tables along. When i reach $300, i will take one table of 0.50/1 (wow lol). Good plan?

@helmaalnicks, I will read that article after i finished this post. I start playing BSS better when i saw the stoxvideos 1 and 2 and later i saw some videos of Ryan Carter and Jared (they unfortunaltely have a paid site now) but that was betting/raising with pp for setvalue when playing with a big stack, liked the video of ABC poker too.
So, i'm curious about this call15 rule since that applies SSS i reckon.

Somebody got a tip for me wich bonus i should take on at Interpoker this month? (see below)
Since i think of making a $200 deposit, but i'm afraid not making that goal of 1300 MPP's. (maybe entering the $100 bonuscode?)

TOTAL BONUS: $200 REQUIRED DEPOSIT: $100
First Bite Second Bite Total Bite
$100 - 500 MPP's $100 - 500 MPP's 1000 MPP'S
Bonus Code:
200N1 Bonus Code:
200N2
How to Take Part

TOTAL BONUS: $400 REQUIRED DEPOSIT: $200
First Bite Second Bite Total Bite
$200 - 1300 MPP's $200 - 1300 MPP's 2600 MPP'S
Bonus Code:
400N1 Bonus Code:
400N2

defo the first one. I used the 50$ at interpoker and with my 1200 $ bankroll after one month i'm shy of games. I have to wait 15-30 minutes for a 10+1 GBP S&G which is too long imo.

Hi Yoghurt1973!

I strongly recommend that you reread the bankroll management article as well because if you want to start with $200 on 3-4 $0.25/$0.50 NL tables you will be broke soon. You need at least 25 buy-ins (in this case $1250) in order to play at NL50 tables.

Psss... Puschkin, i play SSS ;)......and i have an anti bankruptmechanisme in me hehe

Bankrollmanagement is most important to me in playing poker, it comes on my list before handselection and position.

How many tables you advice than playing SSS with a bankroll of $200 and wich limit. I read someting here that you can move up to 0.25/0.50 SSS when you have bankroll of $150 and go back when you dropped to $80 or something.

I will stop playing anyways when i loose 2 buy-ins and when my bankroll drops to 150$ im gonna cry, just kidding, i will go back a level...so 0.15/0.25NL.

Ok....didnt know that

I recommend to play as many tables as you can handle. If you get bored: add a table. If you think it's too stressful: remove a table.

Good luck at the tables!
