This hand got me thinking: "Have I played it right?"

I think I did, but... after 2 hours of bad beats, although I didn't tilt (I'm getting good at self-control , I used to slam the table and curse, now I just say: "Oh well!" and keep on playing), I'm probably not thinking too clearly about everything.

MP2 is loose-passive.

No Limit Hold'em
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
Stacks
Hero: $11.55
MP2: $27.70

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG with A :spade: K :club:
Hero bets $0.75, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP2 raises to $3.10, 4 folds, Hero calls $2.35, UTG+1 calls $2.35

Flop: 8 :spade: K :diamond: 3 :spade:($9.65, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 bets $9.65, Hero calls $9.65 and is all-in, UTG+1 folds.

Turn: 9 :spade:($26.55, 2 players)

River: 6 :diamond:($26.55, 2 players)

Hi Faye6891!

Why is your stack so small? With that stack size I would go all-in preflop because I would like to see 5 cards and not only three in case I don't hit the flop. As played I would bet all-in on the flop because there are some draws out there. You hit your king so get your money in.

Good luck at the tables!

My stack is so small because I was losing!

I usually rebuy when I get to $10 (40BB) or less. Should I rebuy before that?

Preflop you bet all-in or you re-raise all-in?

I didn't bet on the flop cause I was expecting MP2 to make a continuation bet. I don't think he would call my all-in with hands like QQ or JJ... but he may try to take a stab at the pot with these hands if checked to him.

Do you think it's worth taking the risk of giving a free card in order to try and commit someone with hands like QQ and JJ to the pot? Or am I thinking too much?

Because it's no limit, I rebuy when I have spent the blinds. :) I want a full stack when I go all in.

checkraising the flop is fine, but rebuy instant

What do you mean "rebuy instant"? I didn't understand it. English is not my native language, sorry. :(

Everytime you drop below 100bb. Play big stack or short stack, not something in between where you don't know what to do.

if your stack is under 100bb (for example 99bb), you should rebuy.
