[Closed] PLO10, two pair+OESD on 2-spades flop, 5-way

Preflop, Heads up to 6 handed NEVER limp preflop, especially in an ante games. Just raise it up if you have something playable. (play tighter than you are and raise 100% of hands, if you steal the blinds that is a good result for you).

Flop and turn were both absolutely fine. I don't see how you're behind at all on the turn and if you are, you have 6 straight outs and the deuces for a full house at minimum.

At best a jack or ten might also be good plus the queen or seven of spades.

If the turn had been a spade, I would have led out for half the pot (as this is what I would do if I was betting a nut flush draw on the flop) and given up if called or obviously raised.

I may also have slowed down if the turn comes an ace, jack or ten as a nut flush draw is now ahead of us.

But that turn card is super blank and if I decided my hand was good on the flop, i'm sure it is now on the turn.

About limping, never limp even if there are limpers in front of me? Or just don't open-limp?

Is betting full pot on turn good or should bet less? Do you bet half pot on flush card to balance value-bet and bluffs?

even tho PLO is pot limit, i usually try to bet between half pot and 2/3 pot depending on what i am trying to achieve with my bet. since i will rarely want to pot as a bluff, i try to never pot with my made hands or monster draws.

this is after the flop obviously, pre my usual bet sizing is pot from MP and CO, and 3bb from BTN and SB

There are times you should bet full pot, and this is one of them.

C-bet 2/3rds of the pot if it's rainbow, but with a flush draw showing, full pot is good on the flop here.

Generally I bet 2/3rds with bluffs, with sets and with wraps, where as I bet full pot multiway with strong but vulnerable hands (like this one).

If I had a nut flush draw, say A J 9 :diamond:2 then I would be cbetting 2/3rds, but a straight draw isn't good enough to be doing this with.

And what kind of hands we stack off on this flop? Imo naked set of 2s or 8s won't be enough? Unless we have 22J :spade:T or 22A :spade:J ?

On such a draw heavy board people are going to be shoving nut flush draws, wraps, pair+straight draws.

Now if the board was K92 rainbow, then you can fold a set of deuces to a re-reraise because it can only be coming from kings or nines.

Oh, right. I just read in the article that bottom set is usually not good enough, but yeah, i read articles only once so i obv missed some information. And since on this flop we're against a draw usually, we have enough equity. Thanks again
