The original _Texas Chainsaw Massacre_, not the remake.
I'm loving this thread! rly love horror-movies ♦ Or rather, i love the adrenalinekick when I get scared ♠_evil:
Turn the sound up loud, kill the lights... and watch this one. I def think its one of the scaries ones I seen. Loved it.
there is a sequal but it's not as scary, and esp not after having seen the first one imo
Night Watch. Not so much fear inducing as it is interesting, doesn't really compare to American cinema.
Lol @ Gabinr1 's post. That is exactly what the Shining is about
I had to watch that for a film studies class a couple months ago and was seriously disappointed with it. For all the hype that it recieves I thought it was a pretty poor movie. I also thought drag me to hell was pretty bad as well. So far Paranormal Activity has been the most tramatizing for me, although, when I was younger the sixth sense was pretty bad and I haven't seen the ring or the grudge yet.

LoL +1, every time she speaks i get a shiver down my spine.
I don't remember the names but if you want , find and watch some Japanese scary movies. Some are way more scary than American movies.
The Shining and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original ofc)
but I can't believe no one mentioned "it". Watched it as a kid and still dont like clowns. (I think ewveryone I dont know who have watched it dont like clowns lol)
and one of my personal favourite is the The Evil Dead
The descent was kinda scary when I watched it. The ring aswell, but i was only like 13y old when i saw it so.. ♠_biggrin:
if we're counting disgusting in this category then a film called neighbor, terrible film and stomach churning ![]()
If not then insidious was pretty scary
I remember Event Horizon being pretty good and pretty creepy, long time since I have seen it though.
the ring japanese version scared the shit out of me back in the day ;(,IT the clown and the exorcism aswell when i was younger;( watched the exorcism again a few years ago and thought it was a great comedy the second time around
I loved Identity, because that was one you REALLY couldn't see coming.
Regards,
Richard
Lake Mungo is kinda nice. Not a real classic horror movie with killings and a lot of action,it's more like drama/thriller/horror and the best part is "based on true story"
:baby:
yea xDDD it's similar to paranormal activity,if you liked PA you will like this one as well
IMDB link : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816556/
check it out you wont regret
no such thing as a scary movie... theres nothing they can put on film that even gets close to the imagination, which is why movies like , psycho, ( no mention ) , really work. halloween, the scary bits are in your head.........boo...lol ....

Hahaha. I quite like that. However, the real question is why in the world did you watch it anyway?
For me, it has to be both the Paranormal Activity films. I think that it was the whole hand-held camera and the elements of realism which scared me the most.
