In some games, you should be worried about being overflushed when you've got 76- high flush. Obv. not the case in these games.

That's what it is. Playing a lot of cards still. Rush week has brought in few more tough regs to battle with. I don't think it's as bad as it was during last rush week tho. Definitely the reg:fish ratio is way worse than before and the amount of ppl playing 4 or 3 tables is way bigger than last week.

Played on merge some 6max yday and prly dropped like 5bin during 1k hands. Those games were way more aggro than i though it'd be but still there was one or two fishes in every table so not rly a huge problem. Did my best to play rlyrly tight preflop but ended up with vpip of ~30. For some reason the fishes were way worse than the regular fish you find on FT, there was couple guys playing such that if they invested money into the pot, it was by shoving preflop. And yes, those guys were playing with 50bb+ stacks. It's good for the game to see someone open shoving 75bbs from utg with A9o.

[x] iron man for June
[x] black card average 4-figs
[x] 370 iron man plus medals for June
[ ] 10k hands in a day
[ ] have analyzed my game enough
[x] have watched enough coaching vids

btw, am i wrong when i think that for every $ raked i earn 10 ftp's?

edit: @ peche:

I knew you'll find your fishes. I wonder if the guy who called you down when you had KK was actually a reg... Since this was vs a reg:

Nice going!

For every $1 raked in a ring game you get 10FTPs for the table which are then split among all players that were dealt into the hand. For tournaments its again $1 rake = 10 FTPs

Good luck with the 2 remaining goals! 10k hands day sounds tense.

Hey there! So does that mean that if i've got say 10k ftp's (base points) i've raked 1k? Or does it work differently for cash game plrs? I'm wondering this just because hem doesn't track the rake amounts correctly and i wanted to know what's my exact rake amount during this month. Also i can't figure it out via my rb-affiliate since they only show the actual rb amount which obv changes with bonuses etc.

No, it doesnt mean you've raked 10k. It's like, even if 2 other players go all in, and rake... i dno whats reasonable... say 8$. You still get awarded FTP's if you were dealt into the hand (aka even if you folded I think).

Same goes for when you pay rake, other players get ftp's too. So it's really irreliable to count rake in CG that way I think :x

Didn't they change it to contributed instead of dealt? Since what you explained is how dealt rake is calculated. I'd assume i rake when i post a blind and flop is seen even when i don't voluntarily put money in the pot, i get some ftp's. But if i fold from utg i don't get ftp's from that hand, since i didn't contribute to the pot.

they changed it regarding rake, but not regarding the FTP's.

The rake doesnt get shared between dealt in players, but the FTP's awarded for the rake payed gets shared between dealt in players.

"For every $1 raked in a ring game you get 10FTPs for the table which are then split among all players that were dealt into the hand."

At least thats how i understand it. :)

I'm not sure there is as your not tracked via PS, just have to wait and see how much rakeback you get I guess.

Why won't HEM keep track of it for you though?

It doesn't calculate it correctly. Or at least it doesn't match my rb amounts.

@peche

Ehh, that doesn't rly do it since if you've got a bonus running it doesn't give you the right results.

wot?

If it calculates my raking amount correctly, can it be that tough to multiple it by 0,27? Dunno, maybe i'm simply too dumb to get it.

Well, I ahvnet played on FTP for a long time but what Ive heard after the changes in tehir rake system the rB is not exactly 27 and it varries from person to person and how lose u play etc.
So for u it may even be more

But maybe I am just shooting crap

That's ongame. They change your rb% how ever they like. FT doesn't do that. The reason why ppl complained about the changes in their rake system was because they changed it from dealt to weighed-contributed which meant that the biggest nits didn't get as much rb as they were used to. Which is only because they never put money into the pot and when they do, no one ever sees a flop with them.
