been a while since I've been home, but I recently heard about a £1/£1 7 card stud game there. pot. limit. on. every. street.

Hahaha that will have been during the UKIPT I would imagine, they had about 10 times more games going on than normal that weekend. The whole of the downstairs of Aspers was filled with cash game tables of varying limits ranging from £1/£1 to £10/£20 (I think).
Had a nice session last night, always fun when an 8/8 nit raises UTG when I have AA. Because I can pretty much put him on KK straight away ♦ Sure enough, I 3bet from UTG+1 and he snap shoved his KK straight into my rockets ♦. Also made some decent moves.
This was early on in the session but i'd already seen this guy bluff multiple streets. My point to this hand is the fact i'd seen him bluff the river more times than any other street, and by the river i'm almost certain i've got the best hand. Well, that is unless he spiked a random T on the river, but the times win easily make up for the times I lose to that. So i've got the best hand, but I think if I bet into him he folds any hands except A high, lower pairs than me and hands that beat me, but i'm fairly sure he will bluff the river if it's checked to him.
When he does bet the river I do think about minraising him or something, but then don't really see many hands he cals a river raise with.

Anyway, decent session, but again I was knackered last night after helping out the parents all day. Hopefully today I can chill out a bit more and then play a lot more tonight. Hey, yeah it did eventually get fixed. Apparently it was an issue on both sides, Pokerstrategy and Pokerstars, so it took a long time to get to the bottom of it as both the support teams had to communicate (probably) slowly and painfully ♦ Send Pokerstrategy support a support ticket and hope yours is sorted quicker than mine ♦ Although tbh the support staff were all very kind and helpful.

In other news, found out about the 65 Billionth Hand promotion today, hopefully it will begin before I head off on holiday next Thursday, and during it I might go back to 16 tabling FR or something, or maybe dropping down to NL10 and 12 tabling SH there, as I feel I could still beat it

This hand pissed me off a treat, just because I played it badly.
End result: I don't get tilted by bad beats, but I do get very, very pissed off when I make mistakes that cause me to lose the pot.
Anyway, decent few sessions yesterday where I feel like I played pretty well overall and ended about $40 up and for the first time in 12.5k hands my W$SD value was above 50% for both sessions! Before this it was the first day of the month that I had a session where my W$SD was >50% ♦ Shows how good i've been running haha.
Saturday Duel time! First opponent was sitting out, I waited a few minutes but then quickfire blinded him down. Cba wasting my time for someone who doesn't turn up ♦ Got some quality hands in it tbf, so probably would've won it anyway.

EDIT2: Out of all of them. Made a move in the 30k ss one, lost. Went up to twice average in the Big $11, then lost a massive pot with AJ vs AK on AKJxx board and then open shoved 8bb in SB and ran into QQ. Couldn't fade the A I needed and was out

I've come to a decision regarding moving rooms. NLHE is just too tough on Stars in comparison with all the other sites around to make it worthwhile staying there just because of their quality software and VIP store etc.
So, because I love Stars so much I can't leave it forever. I'm going to take around $700 out of Stars, and leave $300 on there. The $700 I take out will go onto an, as yet, undetermined site for me to play NL25 or whatever. The $300 I leave on Stars will be for the sole purpose of Sunday night MTTs and playing PLO10, as the field there is still really weak.
Coincidentally, and quite tragically, I will be moving at the start of August, exactly one year after I first deposited that $50 into Stars and began my grind ♦ Feels nostalgic, and more on the subject of me having played for a year when the time comes, but it's been one of the most interesting and best years i've ever had when thought about in the terms of my hobbies.

Great idea, any idea what room you'll move to? Only thing that puts me off about moving rooms is the whole mess on with ID checks and that sorta thing, Stars is just so convenient

Here's a story about my holiday, basically me and the family, and one of my mates are going to Turkey. My Grandma is also going, only thing is she doesn't have a clue that we're also going XD. She thinks she's just going with my Auntie for her birthday present. Little does she know that when she gets there the whole family will be there hahaha. It's going to be a hell of a surprise for her, her turning up at her hotel and us all being there, and then a few days later my Uncle gets in to Turkey from New Zealand for another surprise. We've been stringing a ridiculous web of lies for nearly a year now and managed to keep it under wraps, i've estimated that well over 100 people know about the whole scenario, and somehow my Grandma hasn't cottoned on. Also, my little brother doesn't know either and i've convinced the whole family to do a sweepstake on when my brother will realise that we're not actually going to Wales like he thinks ♦

So, back after a long, hot holiday with the family and my mate. In short, very nice hotel, lots of money on beer, jumping in the snake infested river whilst drunk, shisha pipe action, boat trip to mudbath and thermal springs, walking miles up to Kaunos in 40C heat.
