On the mid of day 4 he had 19k chips , he's up to 619k now ! I'm so following his twitter , I really want him to win big now ! His WSOP has been so bad this year , so unlucky, I cant believe in what i read about the boards he has been facing..

GO GO POKERSTRATEGY!

This is how our Day 5 players are starting out:

hotkarlmc 1.672m
miamivice 1.16m
philgruissem 1.09m
beyne 1.49m
iteopepe88 939k
yrrsin 743k
schildy1984 455k
voltax 403k
gabrielnassif 299k
jenskyllonen 265k

unfortunately, WSOP.com is dead at the moment so I don't have their seat draws for you.

The numbers:

378 starters.
Avg: 545k

They "rearranged the tables in the Amazon room so there is more space between the table for the ESPN cameras to move around.

I suspect they will kick all of us media guys next (like last year). Hopefully it doesn't happen soon.

JensaKyllonen

Iteopepe88

philgruissem

hotkarlmc

miamivice

schildy1984 and beyne are on the same table.

beyne

Lots of all ins early on in the day.

This If he ships it our sweepstake means I get $800 total :)

1 hour passed already on the 5k/10k/1k level

hotkarlmc up to 2.2m, miamivice up to 1.8m and gabrielnassif doubled up.

Gabriel doubled up with AA. He raised AA UTG, one call, villain shoved 260k, Gabriel called and held up. He has about 600k now.

philgruissem lost a small all in early on, I think he lost less than 10bb there

KK vs A7, A on flop, 7 on river, not that it mattered.

hotkarlmc won two big hands.

HJ vs BB

Flop 8:c 6:s A:h check, Max bets, villain called

Turn 4:h villain check called

River A:c villain check called again a 126k pot.

villain had AQ but max had him beat with A6

villain :"it was suited right? you would never fold if I 3-bet you preflop."

someone else:" he never folds A6" (referring to the hand vs Deeb of course)

--------------------------

Not long later, he busted out a player on his table.

Max raised in MP, BB called

Flop 8:d 5:c Q:d villain check called

Turn 3:c villain check, Max bets 59k, villain goes all in for about 300k, Max called without thinking about it much.

8:h 5:h vs 9:c 5:s

River T:d and villain was busto while Max added more chips to his stack to possibly take the chip lead.

Villain in the A6 hand :"Do you ever miss the flop?"
Max: "I'm running pretty good"

-------------------------------------

miamivice also told me about two hands.

He opened CO to 24k, BU made it 65k, he made it 140k, BU called

Flop J 6 3:c:c miamivice bet 115k, villain called

Turn A:c miamivice bet 180k, villain folded.

miamivice had T:c 9:d there

-------------------------------

In the next hand, EP raised, He called in MP with K:s Q:s

Flop K 4 3 rainbow

villain bets 32k, miamivice called

Turn 8 villain bet 60+k, miamivice called

River 6 villain bet 104k and miamivice called.

villain missed the board with his AQ

Players are on break, so here are some chip counts after the first two hours:

Blinds now are 6k/12k/2k after the break, 297 left. Average 693k

JensKyllonen 1m
gabrielnassif ??
voltax ??
schildy1984 235k
yrrsin 1.3m
iteopepe88 830k
phil ??
miamivice 1.9m
hotkarlmc 2m
beyne 2m

I don't think any of our guys are busto yet, I just lost some players due to table breaks.

You've probably read already how beyne busted Mike Aron with 99 vs AA all in preflop. 9 on the flop.

beyne: "Am I the chipleader yet on PokerStrategy?"

I asked hotkarlmc about how he lost the chips, he said: "I tried to bluff someone"

JensKyllonen doubled up earlier with AA vs KK. He was up to about 600k after that, but has picked up a lot more chips since then.

Tony Hachem, Iteopepe88, beyne

Just to add to my last chip counts:

voltax 310k
philgruissem 980k
gabrielnassif 450k

phil: "nothing happening"

Bryan Devonshire's gravity defying stack.

Not much happening this hour, just have some chip counts for you: (252 left avg 817k)

JensKyllonen 1.25m
gabrielnassif 380k
voltax 230k
schildy1984 300k
iteopepe88 650k
philgruissem 960k
miamivice 2m
hotkarlmc 2m
beyne 1.8m

phil's table has been broken again, he's on this third table for today now and we've only played for 3 hours.

Jens told me that he won TT vs AK for a 450k, other than that he's just been running good and winning hands without showdown.

Max is no longer the big stack at his table, especially after David Bach won a huge flip with 33 vs AK. Bach is close to 3 million now

nice chip building skillz for Devonshire _cool:

break again, blinds up to 8/16k/2k after the 15 minute break. 222 left

JensKyllonen 1.25m
gabrielnassif 300k
voltax busto
schildy1984 550k
philgruissem 1.1m
iteopepe88 610k
miamivice 2.2m
hotkarlmc 2.5m
beyne 1.8m
yrrsin (live stream)

nothing too exciting this hour as well but schildy1984 doubled up vis Tony Hachem.

They got it in on a K:s 3:s 2:c board, Tony check raised and put schildy1984 all in, schildy1984 called.

K:d T:d vs K:h 7:h

Turn A:c Tony

River 9:h

The table broke after that hand and Tony commented: "Thank God this table broke."

I bet he didn't enjoy having beyne to his left too much.

voltax has unfortunately busted out.

He first doubled up with AJ vs 99, but 2 hands later, he ran his JJ into AA after 4-bet shoving it.

He was down to 4bb and busted shortly after that.

chip counts: 196 left

JensKyllonen 1.5m
GabrielNassif 280k
schildy1984 800k
iteopepe88 330k
philgruissem 1m
miamivice 2m
hotkarlmc 2.4m
beyne 1.5m

schildy1984 knocked out a shortie who had 8BB.

BU shoved QJo and schildy1984 called with A6

The board ran out A 2 3 4 3 and villain hit the rails while schildy1984 keeps adding to his stack.

Don't have much else for you this hour.

They are going on dinner break now for 110 minutes.

They also only played 110 minutes of this 8k/16k/2k level, so there will be 10 more minutes of it after dinner.

Weird timing is probably due to ESPN's scheduling.

Will get you the chip counts after dinner, for now here are some hands:

gabrielnassif has busted. Someone raised, Gabriel went all in with 44 and villain to his left called with AA.

Hotkarlmc meanwhile had the real aces (not the fake ones ,44) and won a 700k or so pot with AA vs KK while busting out a shortie.

He however lost back most of those chips right before the dinner break after going all in on the flop of Q:s 2:d J:h.

Max had T:c 9:c and villain had A J. Turn and River were both 5, so Max lost the 756k pot but still has over 3 million now.

miamivice had been quiet for some time and was down to just under 2m, but won a nice pot after value betting 3 streets.

He opened K:c Q:c in EP to 36k , villain in BU called.

On a board of K:s 5:c 8:c 3:h 5:s miamivice bet 42, 82k and 200k and villain called him all 3 times.

"Valuetown!" he said after telling me the hand.

miamivice up to about 2.3 million after that hand

Other than that, I've got no more info for you.

hotkarlmc lost two massive pots

via pokernews:

Just before the break...

In early position, Max Heinzelmann opened with a raise to 50,000, and JP Kelly three-bet him to 130,000 on the button. Heinzelmann called, and it was heads-up to the flop.

Heinzelmann checked the {K-Clubs} {3-Spades} {10-Diamonds} flop, and Kelly took his cue to continue out with 140,000. His opponent then check-raised, but we couldn't decipher the amount before Kelly called to proceed. The turn card came the {K-Spades}, and Heinzelmann led out small with 260,000. Kelly flatted there, and Heinzelmann bet another 450,000 on the {K-Hearts} river with trips on board. Kelly wasted no time calling, and Heinzelmann announced he had a full house. "Me, too," Kelly confirmed.

Showdown
Heinzelmann: {10-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}
Kelly: {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}

Kelly won't get a break as he spends the next few minutes stacking that massive pot. It vaults him all the way up close to 2.5 million, while the German wonder Heinzelmann is left with just 570,000.

Before that, he also lost another huge pot.

JP Kelly raised, one call, villain squeezed 125, Max made it 276k, villain made it 625k, Max called

Flop Q 8 8 :c villain bets 300k, Max bets 850k, villain goes all in for 1.1m more and max folded and mucked.

villain had Q9s

An update from the Venetian Deepstack $5k Main Event

Nazgul finished 6th

Nazgul lost a huge hand when he and villain had 2m each.

Nazgul raised in BU QJs, villain 3-bet and Nazgul called

Flop Q J 3 check, Nazgul bet 1/2 pot, villain called

Turn K villain check called Nazgul's 1/2 pot bet again. (Pot is 1.4 million)

River A check check and villain has A A to win it.

The Nazgul picked up AA but doubled up a shortie.

They were all in on a 7 6 5 flop, villain had 8 6 and hit 4 on the turn.

Finally in his last hand with 34bb, MP raised, BU called, Nazgul 3-bet in SB, MP shoved AKo and Nazgul called with JJ

The board ran out 7 7 3 4 A x and Nazgul was out.

The Gods Must Be Angry; Heinzelmann Gets Got

Posted 11 minutes ago by EricRamsey • Level 22: 10,000-20,000, 3,000 ante
Max Heinzelmann - out

It's been an extremely volatile level for Max Heinzelmann, and the downward swing of the pendulum has just taken the rest of his chips. Just a moment after doubling through David Bach with some two-out shenanigans, the poker gods struck back.

Heinzelmann opened to 40,000 from early position, and David Bach three-bet him to 120,000. Heinzelmann shoved for about 800,000 total, and Bach instantly called, tabling {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}. The Gunslinger's cowboys were second-best, though, as Heinzelmann turned up the {A-Hearts} {A-Spades}.

Without calling for the cameras, the dealer pulled the cards in, burned one, and quickly ran out a scary {7-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} flop. It was at this point that one of the men with headsets realized what was going on, and he froze the action as Heinzelmann wriggled in his skin. He was in agony, while Bach chuckled with his neighbors in light-hearted tones.

Finally, the cameras gathered 'round and set up shop, and the dealer knocked the table and turned a safe {6-Hearts} out onto the board. Heinzelmann needed to fade the aces and diamonds left in the deck, but he ultimately could not. The {3-Diamonds} dropped on the end of the all-red board, and Bach's diamonds give him the pot and the knockout.

He's one of the more exciting players to watch in this game, but the WSOP Main Event run of EPT stud Max Heinzelmann has come to an end with about 150 players left. Somewhere, wherever he is, Shaun Deeb just cracked open a beer.

After that knockout, Bach says he figures his stack at about 4.5 million, but we're thinking it's closer to 4.7 or 4.75 million. Either way, it's heaps, and it keeps Bach's name in the top few spaces on the leader board.
