Not too much in terms of hands to report from Phil in the last hour, but he's been doing a lot of talking.

He has about 4.5 million at the moment from my rough count.

It all started when he was in the SB and the BU and BB were in a big pot.

BU wanted to know what BB had in his stack (a young English kid), BB just kept quiet (he never told the chip counts in every hand he's played so far) and the floor got called so that his chips could be counted.

The hands took almost 10 minutes to play our and Phil wasn't too happy about that.

"If you're so uncomfortable about saying around 2 million maybe you shouldn't play live ... it's just wasting everyone's time"

The poor kid explained that he didn't want to give away any tells

"I'm not going to be able to read your hand if you jut say around 2 million, look in the mirror and say around 2 million 200 times"

"It's not a rule but its just courtesy"

"It's the same with the hoodies and sunglasses, if everyone is wearing hoodies and sunglasses and (Phil does the Phil Hellmuth look where he covers himself up with his hands) then we should just all play online. It's the same with ESPN and the cameras, if everyone (he does the Phil Hellmuth thing again) then they won't be here next year"

Phil is up to 5.5 million now, 1 more hour to go at the 50k/100k/10k level.

Phil won a small pot Blind vs blind.

SB completes, Phil checks his option.

Flop J:d 7:d T:h I didn't catch the action here

Turn 5:c check, Phil puts in 300k, call

River 9:h villain bets 350k and Phil calls with J5 to win it.

He then picked up two pots straight raising from the HJ and then from MP.

Phil: "Come on guys, I want to be chip leader at the final table!"
Old guy: "You can't be chip leader on this table even if you win all the chips"
Phil: "I don't want to move to a new table and be the short stack."

New seat draw for phil after a few new players joined in. Down to 4 tables

336 1 Phil Collins 8,800,000
336 2 Christopher Moore 3,700,000
336 3 Philipp Gruissem 5,000,000
336 4 Samuel Holden 4,100,000
336 5 Bounahra Badih 1,900,000
336 6 Steve Brecher 5,400,000
336 7 Kenny Shih 2,300,000
336 8 Khoa Nguyen 10,300,000
336 9 Gionni Demers 2,600,000

Not a bad draw if you ask me

philgruissem lost a big flip before the dinner break,

UTG Kenny shih made it 250k, phil made it 485k from CO, Shih goes all in and Phil calls.

AQo vs JJ

the board ran out K:c 6:s 6:d 3:c 7:c and Shih doubled up to just over 5 million after the hand. He was moved to another table right after that.

Phil is down to 2.6m now.

See you in 2 hours!

We've just restarted, Blinds are now 60k/120k/15k

philgruissem doubled up less than 20 minutes after the restart, He should be back up to about 5 million now.

Phil raised in BU against a tight BB, SB Samuel Holden shoved, Phil called.

villain turned over J:h T:h, and Phil sort of slowrolled him when he grimaced and held up his cards for a few seconds before reavealing K K

The board ran out 8:c Q:s 6:c 4:d Q:d

BB came over to the rail and told his friends that he folded 6 6, he would've flopped a set

Phil is at about 3.5 million now (my guesstimate) after losing two big pots, and then picking up a small one.

Phil raised in CO, BB (Khoa Nguyen) called

Flop 4:s T:s 4:d

check, Phil bets 250k, villain called

Turn 9:d villain donks 375k, phil called

river 9:h check check

phil showed AKs but villain won it with KT

-----------------------------

He then went all in with the shortie on the table with 22 vs AJ and the board ran out K K 9 6 6 and phil's pair was counterfeited.

------------------------

The guy who just doubled limped in UTG, SB completed and Phil pushed all in from BB.

both folded, phil showed AJo and EP showed KTs

The guy then raised all in from the BB with AA and the raiser called with QQ

phil gruissem just busted out in the hands of Christopher Moore.

Moore raised in CO to 250k, Phil made it 625k, Moore goes all in and Phil calls

7:s 7:d vs ATs

the board ran out K:c T:h 5:d 2:h 6:h and Phil goes out in 28th place for $242,636

Phil and his rail after the bustout.

That's the bar obviously

Well guys, that's all for me from Vegas I guess.

I hope you guys liked the coverage in the last 50 or so days.

With no more PokerStrategists left, I'll leave you in the able hands of the WSOP Coverage by ESPN/PokerNews.

Maybe I'll be back soon.

And do check the Teamblog for a blog about my WSOP experience in the next few days.

Thank you and goodbye.
