I remember once accidentally pressing the fold button while checking was possible and option came up to not fold but just check. Somehow that option is gone and I was wondering how to get it back. Have lost a bit already to this problem when stacking tables.

I folded a royal flush in a similar situation. And because of that my tracker says that with royal flush i have lost more money then won ♦
OK I checked the client, can't find it. Then I decided to sit down to a table maybe I'll find something there.... won first pot, lost second 
you see what we do for our members? 
can you check this with Stars and post here the reply please?

He probably clicked on "remember this action" and he pressed fold, so now it always folds for him.
I am pretty sure the "fix" is to reinstall the software/reset the settings for the pokerstars software since I can't find the part where you can remove the "remember" action. ♦

Find the pokerstars folder -> open user.ini
Near bottom of the file there is:
[DontShowDialog]
delete the line Checkisfree=x

This is probably the fix to your problem.
