I was think that it would be better to steal/bet all playable hands from BTN and CO with 3bb. Doesn't matter if its 97s or AA. I thought of this because there isn't any point in adjusting my raise size according to my hand strenght , because it will make me more readable. Also 3bb bet would be better against SS, cuz I lose 1bb less when I get reraised.
Problem is that will people reraise me more loosely, because they think 3bb is a sign of weakness?
What do you think of this play`?

definetely do NOT adjust bet size according to your hand strength, and most coaches advise to steal with 3bb so i guess it's the right amount

Definitly go for 3bb on the BU/CO. Makes your steals way more profitable. Personally i make it 3bb on CO and 2.5bb on the BU.

Actually in the SB i make it 3.5bb since you get called by the BB way to light if you make it 2.5bb and your OOP.
Basically you want a fold when your stealing and the hands that BB will fold to your BU 2.5x open he will call when you open from the SB since he has position.
3bb the first couple of orbits when your stealing and when you notice that they rarely defend, or 2bb will even do it. doesnt really matter.

STEAL
Set up the EV calculation, and then set the EV to zero to find the break-even point.
EV = P(Two Folds) * (Amount Won) - P(Not Two Folds) * (Size of Steal)
EV = f * 1.5 - (1 - f) * 2
0 = f * 1.5 - 2 + 2 * f
2 = 3.5 * f
f = 57.14%
So you must get two folds more than 57.14% of the time to show a profit.
SQRT(57.14%) = 75.6%
So if both players fold to steal more than 75.6%, then you will show a profit with any junk hand.
Here is the same calculation for if you were to raise to 3bb instead of 2bb:
EV = f * 1.5 - (1 - f) * 3
0 = f * 1.5 - 3 + 3 * f
3 = 4.5 * f
f = 66.67%
SQRT(66.67%) = 81.6%
So if you raise to 3bb instead of 2bb, you must get two folds more than 66.67% of the time to show a profit. And if both players fold to steal more than 81.6%, then you will show a profit with any junk hand.
just wanna thow something in here, against nits (under 16vpip in 6max) you wanna steal ATC with 2.5BB fron BU
vs nits open atc otb 2.5bb open atc sb 2bb, try for multitabling nits this will make a big effect on your winrate.. opening 4bb is a leak imo not sure why ps thinks that.. unless your against fish, and in that case you can probably open even more
