Simply because after reading the wiki article and reading the replies, I see I would have to have a huge bankroll to keep on winning, I do not want to go on a losing streak and lose everything on roulette. I'll stick to poker, doing good enough there.

Just remembered I have $3 left on Poker770 and that they have roulette... Yesssss

I've done this on online poker sites like Titan Poker's Casino and Poker770's casino. It's a very time consuming way to make little amounts of money, but it's not fool proof. Literally all it takes is one unlucky streak and your entire bankroll will be gone. It's happened to me on more than one occasion.

don't play roulette because it is -ev and the house will be winner in the long run.

made it up to $13 using martingale strategy, then got bored and the table was super hot for the more controversial "Dragon Strategy" so I decided to switch...

Yeah it's sort of the opposite of MTTs where you can lose for long streaks and then have 1 big win and in the long run you make more than you lose.

Plus it's boring as hell

Martingale system, it's flawed simply because every spin is irrespective of the last. I tried it once in a Live Casino and watched 13 reds consecutively whilst betting black. Moreover Red/Black is not 50/50 it's 47.33% approx.

Anyway the ponit here is this; you're not going to beat Roulette long term. I can guarantee that to you.

Haha same thing happened to my friend a couple of years ago, he busted $80, starting from a 10c bet. Then he started another account in his brothers name to get the free 50 bucks, This time he got down to the last bet which was the rest of his roll and stopped without doing the flip.

If any number of bets is always -EV, than I'll just square my bets...easy game.

The amount of money you can bet is usually limited so if you play 10$ minimum bet then the ceiling would be something like 1000 and that's 7 doubles (up to 640 and the next double up 1240 is already unaffordable) . Tried it in online casion got up from 50 to 80 and then down to 35.

Spin 4: We bet €8 on RED, ball stops on BLACK, so we win €8 (profit €1).

Problem is you don't win a proper sum by just doubling. What you want to do is to sell all your assets so you can afford to keep playing until you hit a win and let it be a big one. If you are a billionaire, you could probably win some millions on this, though I guess you make that in interests on a daily basis, so why risk losing it on roulette.

Anyway, I prefer the other way. Doubling every time you win, now you can have a lucky streak and win a lot or lose $1 and be done with it.
