i just realised that it actually doesnt matter at all where u excel in.
may it be golf, tennis, business, science, quantum physics, surfing, poker, investing ....i think u will get closer in understanding (the whole big picture of life and yourself) the more you dedicate "your" thing and become rly rly good at it. if u read all the sicko's life-philosophy posts or listen to their special talks, we see that all of them drew the same conclusions on why they are more successful than 99% of their peers. surfer shaun tomson' words of wisdom are not much different than the ones of michael jordan, will smith or jack welch.

Do you think its good longterm to put those cars into our objectives? When I wanted to buy my first car, i grinded so fast with so much dedication because i had a clear goal, but now playing nl100+ and mtt midstakes, grinding doesnt matter that much
a car is a nice thing cuz u see it almost daily. so u see every day what a (poker) pimp u are and why u are grinding your ass off.
however, i wouldnt set a car as an overall goal in life. since poker is all about money, a money oriented goal here and there shouldnt hurt.
for short term, using an extrinsic factor like a new car is probably a motivional boost. just do it too often.
but dont forget to put things into perspective. its only $$$, only a car etc ...
