Funny how you give flops without mentioning preflop action.

1) If you're PFR bet/broke (c/r vs aggro players might work as well)
If you called PF then pretty much the same but c/r becomes more attractive vs players with high cbet
If it is a limped pot and more than one player gives your bet or raise heavy action it might be time to rethink (A8s, T8, J8, 22 are all common hands for limped pots).

2) raise and a re-raise assume that there was also an initial bet (from you probably) if that is the case then folding becomes a reasonable option.
If you meant bet and a raise then your hand is probably good most of the times.

Judging by your description it is at least 3 way pot, so it is either a limpfest or PFR and two callers but in early stages of a tournament ranges will be practically the same, mb more flushdraws in a limped pot.

3) In a tournament pretty much have to go broke with this hand.

If 2nd then T9 hand is an easy fold.

calling with this kind of hand without raise, n 5 players in will always make your decision harder.

Agreed. After all, you want to triple range merge your own range for balancing purposes.

it's completely situational... you can't just say "i have xx and board is xx8" might fold if i limped along with 8 more people and might call if it's a 4bet pot
