What I've lately tried was to get villains off of their thin valuebetting hands like in the example above. I doubt he will play a K this way so he's probably thinvaluebetting TT-QQ. This play works good against regulars, especially the ones who are playing 6-12 tables.

Again against an overaggro fish. Didn't really knew that to do in that hand. I think raising/getting it in on the flop is fine but I think by flatting I give him a rope to hang and I'm not really scared about any turn cards. If he checks the turn I shouldve probably checked back but I think a small bet is fine too, maybe even 1.2$ or something like that. How would you play the turn?

In this hand I don't think getting it in the flop is the best play, we crush the board and I think when we get it in its mostly against a flush. But when he checks the turn it gets tricky he either wants to double c/r us or wants a freecard. I think underrepping our hand there is better then going for protection/value against a flushdraw, I don't know tho...I somehow couldn't image he would still c/c something on the turn and the danger of getting c/r is still there. On the river I could raise to a normal amount but I was kinda hoping he really has a flush and then he would payoff any amount imo.

Think I'll need some time before moving up to 25, depends alot on how I run obv. Don't wanna set a goal on that because it's not in my hands, just have to play good and hope everything will turn out good. Would be great to start the new month already playing 25 but we will see maybe 1-2 weeks into oct.
I dont't wanna rush things, I think I was lucky moving up from 2NL to 10NL in 2 weeks but also I played many many hours.
well u are better than 99% regs in those limits so just put in nice volume and u'll be there in no time
hello to all my followers ![]()
just wanted to thank everyone whos following my blog, it's really motivativ.
So I've been playing alot 10NL deep/ante and doing good. But I tend to sometimes play too crazy and ppl just give me no respect, mostly I try to combat such players with even more aggresion like overbet shoving rivers or overbetting in general. It get pretty sick swings and then if I'm down like 6-10 stacks I doubt I play optimal. But I think I have to get used to it and teach myself to play and think optimal even when I experience huge swings. I think most of my plays are still +ev longterm.
Heres my graph from the last couple days
And my overall graph ( my nice redline is gone

This might look as a total spew but in reality I just followed my read and most important my notes I had on villain. Notes on him:
-raise cb bvb on K82r folds to flop 3b
-will raise every weak spot he sees
I bet small knowing he probably will attack it. I doubt he will hit that board because I'v been 4betting him all day long and like 4 times the last 5minutes we've played, so I'm sure he will try to get his vaue hands in pre(AK,JJ,QQ,KK). The question is what do we do with AJ KQ K9 AK and I think the answer is close your eyes and call down

Villain in this hand is a veeeery loose and aggro but I think he doenst really now what he's doing, he's a fish for sure. His stats are 50/30 over ~400 hands.
Pre I 3bet for value with KQo because he only folds to 3bets 30% so KQ is pretty good. The interesting stuff happens on the flop where he raises my cbet, for me this makes totaly no sense. You have to know that I've been batteling with him alot because he will make much more mistakes then me in genereal and esp. postflop. I think he would never raise and A here because he also knows that I'm very aggro and would barrel alot of turns and rivers. Look out for villains that raise very dry Kxx and Axx flops, for the most part it's a bluff. Value ranges are just too narrowed.

Villain plays 37/35 with a 3bet of 16 and he 3bets button opens 23%.
J8s easy call pre against such an villain, I think I wouldn't fold any hand I open against him. I wouldn't open total crap like 84o 65o which I would open if nits are in the blinds.
So he 3bets ~23% of the time we flop a gutshot and raise it up he folds.
Again we could also call and maybe raise the turn to create more dead money but it also can get alot more expensive if he acutally has a hand.
If he 3bets the flop or shoves we don't mind folding our gutshot because have poor equity anways.

This was a really weird hand
happily I got lucky on the river and could stack both players but I was unsure about my turn play. In hindsight I don't like my turn c/r when I was playing I felt I can do it for value because he bets so small but we are multiway and he is a fish so he could take this line with a stronger Ace and also I don't get much value from worse aaaand the worst part of it is that I could get blown off of my equity!!! if for example the player holding TT has a bigger stack and suddenly decides to shove allin.

That hand was against one of the better regs at that limit. He's solid but obv has couple of leaks in his play. I had a note on him which says: minraise turn for cheap showdown. Which is,against me, not an bad idea. But after time I started to combat it. Like in this hand. For my suprise he began to balance his minraising turn ranges too
I think I still like my play with the original read I had, now I'll have to adapt a little bit more. On thing that probably is important in that hand(which makes villains range much stronger) is the fact that he overcalls my flopraise and then minraises the turn.
I'm trying to get into coaching players. I will try my best to teach TilTmuch as much as I can, he will be my first student. Maybe later on I will take some more students. I also want to learn 8-game. I played it a bit back in the days (also 10-game on FTP) but I think overall I was loosing in those games. This week I will watch alot of 8-game and 2-7 triple draw videos, so expect to see some funny hands here ![]()
good luck to all of you at the tables
