3 things i want to say to you:

I just wanted to give my opinion on people scamming successful close friends and family. I think the reason and motive is never a person being inherently bad and the action of the person almost never starts with the intention of pure scamming.
I think it mostly starts with a bit of jealousy and the feeling of entitlement for part of your success. Then since the human mind is so devious and is always looking for patterns, that person feelings start growing from that point towards a bad end which usually is something like:
a)I'm so close to him, I'm entitled to a part of what he's got
b)he has so much, he shouldn't miss a bit if I take it
c)he's got so much and not taking good care of me like I would in his place
...and others
Then after the person is in that phase (so it has an excuse for his behavior), it's just a question of time/opportunity until the bad deed is done.
And to finish this dissertation I'll give you two quotes:
-The road to hell is paved with good intentions
-More evil deeds are done because of people stupidity, than because of people evilness
P.S. Sorry for the rambling, I just wanted to write something to you, since you must feel pretty awful given what happened to you lately, but I think you shouldn't change as a person because of that. Friendship needs some tests sometimes and for everyone that disappoints you there is someone that will not.

bobo, yeah life-coaching makes sense, but i feel like thats waaaay tougher to coach cuz its just so individual. certain lines in poker you can teach everybody, but thats not true for many spots in life.
we all just have to be our own coach here imo. but ofc we can try to copy good things we see in others.

Due to those ventures I'm playing a bit less hands than usually, but those hands I play I do grind xtremely focused and my new penthouse balla office also helps in playing my best game. Doesnt hurt to run hot vs some guys. Vs this guy on 2/4 I won basically every big hand tonight 
some solid postflop setups in my favour, although his preflop hand selection is not all that pro like in some cases ...
kicker plays!!!! ♠_biggrin: (just for the records: very thin call, even getting 2:1 on the turn I expect to see AKQ9 etc a lot. But with our dynamics it might be a call and sometimes like here my kicker rly beats his low ones)
