Great coaching yesterday Unam!
This "join.me" system you´re using now is really big advantage and much easier to follow and focus.
Looking forward for next week´s session review.
If I could ask, please find also some resteal spots we could talk about in middle-phase or on the bubble (for me personally I think this is a leak, having around 14-20bb many times I´m just restealing simply tight) or for example spots like utg/mp raiser, we´re sitting on 99-JJ or AJ, AQ late position - similar stacksizes.
Of course depends on stats also, but I would appreciate we could talk about these spots.

Keep up with excellent job you´re doing!

See ya

First of all: Thank you very much Unam for reviewing my HH. It was a great experience for me and I definitely know now what kind of leaks I have to work on.

But I am still thinking about the following hand and I still do not agree with you, but I think i did not find the words yesterday to make clear what the reason for my decision was:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, 22 Tournament, 200/400 Blinds (4 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG (t2080)
SB (t2720)
Hero (BB) (t2970)
Button (t12230)

Hero's M: 4.95

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, 8
1 fold, Button bets t800, 1 fold, Hero ???

We know that the bigstack is a regular

You said you would push it, because he will have a weak range in the most cases, so he just raises and does not push, to save chips.

But I think that he has in this bubble-situation so much foldequity and he knows that. Even if he is pushing any two or something close to any two, I can just call with 88+ and the SB with TT+. So the only reason for him not to push and not to use the foldequity is in my opinion that he simply doesn't want to have this big foldequity.

The reason for him to minraise is that the SB and me now have a range of hands that we are pushing against his raise, let's say sth. like AJ+, which we have to fold against his push. And that is the point, because I just see that he lets our range grow because his equity is also growing with our ranges.

I hope I made my opinion clear now and I would be very happy if you give me an short answer.

Thank you very much, you did a great job and sorry for me being that kind of passive/silent yesterday.

Best

Your opinion is fine of course, but there is also the possibility, that he has a trash hand and he is raising it because he thinks you will push roughly the same range that you will call his push with and then he saves money if he plays these hands minraise fold.
Btw. I don't think I said you should push it or that pushing is always good here, but I am really thinking about that push and from the plays that I have seen from this opponent I assume he is folding often. It is just a decision based on reads and it might be a high variance play. Folding is definitely not wrong.

I want to thank Unam and Luf for the appointments on my game. The user review is the best way to correct our mistakes on the tables and I'll try to make the best use of the notes.

Regards
