If I ever manage to stumble past 2000, however briefly, I will be just as pleased (best so far, 1960,
). Well done you!

Ok I am back to the tables!
I am done with that DB review. Glad I did it, it emphasized some spots where I continuously lose money.
I have taken note of what I will change from now on.
However one thing to remember is that if one is able to hand read very well one should be able to play very loose.
So hopefully the changes I will make will bring me some bb/100 but I should be a better hand reader, as simple as that.
HEM 2 with its HUD vs Hero feature, I am dreaming about it ♠_cool:
Unf the software seems far from being reliable form what I have read here and there so I guess I'll wait for the IT guys to do better!
Was looking at my PTR and here is what I found:
"You showdown 65% less often than optimal. Do you ever showdown?"
I am not supposed to make them fold before showdown??
Went through my spam box and found an email from PS that offers me a second starting capital on 770 Poker ♠_cool:
Thanks to PS - I just wish I didn't have to open another account. Will I ever remember all my passwords???????
EDIT: btw will I still be eligible for a first deposit bonus if I play with this 50$?
Hi Dublimax,
To answer your question: yes you will be able to benefit from our first deposit bonus, even if you previously received the $50 starting capital we offer in association with PokerStrategy.
The $50 is considered to be a welcome bonus and as all welcome bonuses, the idea behind it is to offer you a chance of trying out our tables and start growing your bankroll without having to make a deposit.
The first deposit bonus instead is a pending bonus that is automatically credited to all players registering their first deposit on our gaming platform, in order to double its value and get you going.
You can clear the bonus by accumulating Points770 that you automatically receive while playing poker. For every 350 Points770 you get $5 of the bonus.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Yoanna
Time for some blogging!
October has been not so good/ not so bad month. With rakeback I manage to increase my BR to start shooting NL200 again. Pretty cool!
However unlike my first shoot I will take it easy and keep grinding Nl100 and I am adding 1 or 2 tables max of NL200 during my sessions. Table selecting hard ♦
Also lately I have been thinking a lot about my poker and stepped back and looked at my poker progress and poker career as a whole. Here is what I think:
I took me about 15 months to go from NL20 to shooting NL200. Overall I wish it would have been faster obviously, however if I look at it from very general point of view I should be satisfied with myself.
I have a job and obviously it doesn't help to put in a lot of hours. Also since I am a multitable noob my volume sucks :f_biggrin:. But overall I think that despite this I am putting a very good number of hours towards poker in general (play/review sessions/videos etc...). Sometimes I wish I could be like some of you here that are at uni or full time to be able to put in a loooot of hours.
But on the other hand this gives me an edge too I believe.
First off I have very very rarely felt like I didn't want to play poker like so many here which is great. Only drawback having a job with this respect is that I tend to play when I am a bit tired in the evenings sometimes but that's ok.
I also don't have the pressure of paying the bills with my poker income which makes me little result oriented (not sure I have a whine post here in this blog). Not saying I am not at all but overall I think I have a decent mindset.
My gf, job and RL also give me the chance to be well balanced which is imo capital to succeed.
What are my poker goals long term?
Hmmm tough one if I want to be realistic! But being honest with myself I think I would like to be full time at some point (playing Nl1k?). Not sure I would do this for all my life but that's certainly a very exciting option.
Why is that? Well in everything I do I try to be the best and work hard. Being the best at poker at my age is probably a bit optimistic but the best I can could certainly be quite interesting ♠_cool:. Poker is no different than other sport imo the sooner one starts playing the better in order to become very strong.
Talking about my age, well I am not that old ffs!! But to make it big in poker I think I shouldn't be wasting more time. It doesn't mean I am quitting my job and go full time (I certainly won't in a near future) but I decided to get some coaching from TwiceT.
I feel this will give me the right boost I need at the right time to beat NL200 soon and mid term NL400. We won't go crazy and have 10 hours/week but every 2/3 weeks we'll have a session. TT is a personal choice and even though he isn't cheap I feel at this time he is the right coach I need.
wow pretty long and I am sure very badly articulated post so for those tldr: I am shooting NL200 and getting coached by TT.
Peace
One Finnish person once said ... 'I am already too old to eat nosebleeds...' And he is in his early 20ties and I agree with him ♦

won my first HU SNG 1$!
Quite fun because there was a lot of chatting too, looked like more I was having a pint with a friend than playing poker tbh!! ♦
hey guys!
Need a very quick help on visual basic. I am a huge NL2 fish and I need to solve a NL5 problem ![]()
I have a text box and I want the end user to enter a number between 0 and 3000 in it. If it isnt a number between 0 and 3000 I'll have a message that says: "stupid fish enter a fecking number between 0 and 3000!".
I used isnumeric function to do so. It works fine for letters, = etc... but I can still enter something like 20+ or 30- i.e a number and + or - in the end.
Anyone has any idea how to solve this?
