Hi, really want some advice on this hand.

UTG was a real maniac, showing lots of idiotic bluffs and going to showdown with utter crap. Stats 90/50. History with him: i reraised his 1$ raises preflop to 3$ 4 or 5 times before with AJ+,JJ+ , all the time he called with 75o, A3s or stuff like this.

Then this hand comes up:

UTG checks, Hero bets 4.00, UTG calls 4.00.

Turn (14.30) 3♥
UTG checks, Hero moves all-in for 25.94, UTG calls 25.94.

River (66.18) 8♦

UTG wins 66.18 with Three of a kind, Seven's

Why to push with your stack, make 10-11$ bet and push on the river.

Idd, you're prolly way ahead and he'll stack of with a K/3 or any midpair prollz. Just bet 2/3e pot and call shove.

Had same some days ago, a 80/40/12 who 3betted any2 anytime so I trap for once, really sickened me:

Representing a bluff while overprotecting against a flushdraw. He made 3 'herocalls' against bluffs with toppair & weak kicker before, so I liked to induce such a herocall again.

Hm thought I would be burning money by doing this but okay will do next time. Thought I'd sell the story of a steal/flatcall then check flop to induce bluff/weakness.
