My name is Patrick Leonard and I work for PokerStrategy.com full time in Gibraltar. I play predominantly NL100-400 6max with a preference to the anon tables on MG. I also have had quite alot of success with tournaments recently. I have decided to do a challenge to show people that playing with Holdem Manager is NOT a necessity and that playing for profit rather than for rakeback is the way forward.
I think notes are the most underated thing in poker that 99% of people don't maximise, I will be maxing as many notes as physically possible about timing tells, bet sizing tells and mixing in my live experience with the live game.
For those of you who come from a predominatly live poker scene and that think poker isn't pure anymore because everybody is roboting it up with tracking devices I will show you...
For those of you who think that they can not crush anymore like they could in 2005 I will show you....
Rules of the challenge:
- I cannot play a game if I have less than 15bi's for that limit.
- I can not at any time use a HUD whilst playing
Where and what will I be playing:
- There is good micro limit traffic at party and great software I will play here untill at least NL50
- I will start by depositing $250 onto Party Poker
- I will play NL10 untill I reach $500 where I will start "taking shots" at NL25
- I will not be playing more than 4 tables at once
