Hi all,i am wondering when is the best time to play at PS ???
I do not mean the time when is the most players at site,i mean the time when most regs are at sleep and most fishes are at the tables at nl10 and nl25 and that they are giving monay to regs.. _biggrin:

What is your opinion?

Hi Saka000,

I guess the best time to play at Stars post Black Friday would be between 18-23pm GMT.

There always seems to be at least 100-150k players online in that time span. Wheras right now there is just over 70k players at 8.40am GMT.

Hope this was helpful,

Best regards,
Gary

If the fishes are at the tables then so are the regs - as you said "most fishes are at the tables ... giving money to regs"

Most "regs" adapt their playing times to when the fish are about just as anglers are at nthe riverbank when the fish are most likely to bite.

Hi Saka000,

I think regs will play more hours than fishes. So, fishes will sleep first and the regs keep playing.

Hi JHTAN,

I find the more players online, the better chance of their being fish. People who play recreationally are more likely to be fish, and they would mostly play in the evenings or on weekends.

And as Stars now gets most of its customer base from Europe, I feel the evening times are the best for fishy players, although it's highly probable that there is fish on during the day time also.

Hope this helps,
Gary

Hey Gary,

If a person plays 10 cash tables then it shows 1 player or 10 players?

Good question!

Might be worth asking PokerStars that question! I would imagine you only count as 1 player and it wouldn't make any difference as to how many tables you were playing. However, to be sure, to be sure you may be better off seeking the answer from Stars ;)

Best wishes,
Gary

I think that every player logged in is counted as 1 player. Doesn´t matter if he is not playing or playing 10 tables.

Would imagine so too, but will double check for certainty :)

I remember reading it somewhere that the # of players shown on the lobby is actually # of players sitting at the tables.

So if 1 player is sitting at 24 tables then that 1 player will show up as 24 players.

1 player = 1 account = 1 number, no matter how many tables are you playing , it means how many people are logged in ATM.
