Bump. I've answered a lot of the questions in the second post.

Damn American legislators stealing attention away from my 12345th post!

One of the most awesome things on PS is hearing Chenny8888 do a video. I always secretly hope he'll miss off one of the 8's by mistake.

:P

(I'm easily amused).

Hey Chenny,

Whats your take on taking shots? I see you say in OP about how BRM is one of the most important things, do you think its still possible to get to 10knl without shot taking/aggresive BRM?

Hey Chenny!

Its a great post and a great story as well :)
Have you given up the SnGs on stars completely now or what? I've just moved up to the $16 limit and your "Moving Up" vid was very useful :)

Definitely. just put in volume and make sure you stay on top of the game w/ study groups and constant evaluation. I can't say from experience cause I haven't done it (being staked etc instead), but taking really aggressive shots at a tough game is definitely not the way IMO

Great post!
I have one question regarding education.
First - what do you study ? :)
And then it seems like poker > education in your life. As you've said - degree commited.
What is your advise for new young players that follow your 6 steps, BUT turn a blind eye on the university, because of the less time they have while grinding in poker.
I'm very curious what are the thoughts of a successful winning player and how one can find a good balance between poker school and university ? :)

I'm sorry if it sounds complicated.

Civil engineering. I personally think university, being an optional, higher education, isn't necessarily something that everyone HAS to fo. So it's just a matter of either finding something you like (civil is pretty interesting) or something that will open pathways to something you like. I feel that balance will automatically follow. Then again maybe not cause I'm still extremely lazy when it comes to university :P

Awesome post man.

I have a question. When you first moved out of home and were living off poker, How did you divide your money between pokersites and bank accounts?? Was it 40% poker 60% bank??? Or were you a bit more conservative?

i tried to split it such that i would always have what i needed in my bank account. but i acted on the premise that my money on stars was always safe and easily accessible

@yoghi: i'm 22, how old are YOU old man?
