busted the summer series ME in 35th place. 18 paid. ill just copy and paste from my stake thread for day 2.

picked up a lot of nice pots early when i card racked in really good spots. just seemed to pick up AK in really obvious 3bet spots and get paid. unfortunately only for 1 or 2 bets.
chipped up to 60k from my 33k without a showdown in the first level. then my first major pot was when i raised T9s bvb vs an aggro old reggy guy, seemed a bit spewy. seem him 4bet bluff a reg and just be quite aggro all round. we have around 75bbs eff (im shortest) . flop T9x i cbet he flats, turn 4x i c/c, river 5x i c/c again. i had 1 psb left on the river and was preparing to call a ship as well. this was my peak for the day when i had 88k.
next big pot was when i made a mistake. although im not really sure exactly how bad it is. it could go either way. fish raises mp, very very bad player, very good reg (monsterdong) 3bets HJ std size, i cold 4bet the SB quite big (2.7x) i have 88k. my 4bet was to 17k. fish tank flats, HJ folds. flop J44r . fish has exactly 1 psb left. i tank and end up jamming. fish tank calls QQ. i think i should check here. the fish range is something like TT/JJ/QQ/AK . Maybe KK and maybe AQ (although prob not). i should prob just check here maybe just c/f or try get to SD somehow. I couldnt fathom folding this for 1 psb and i didnt know what he would do with the AK in his range. but AK combos are reduced because i have AJ and HJ 3bets a lot of Axs. so yeah i think this was a mistake. anyway he later tells me he was really close to folding. so maybe bluff jamming AJ there isnt so bad tongue out ( fish confused fish confused ) .
after that pot i was hovering between 8-20bigs for the rest of the day.
last hand was the first hand i was AI and called. quite standard AK v KJ although the guy tank called getting odds (standard for live poker though). , flop QT9 , i missed royal flush + broadway redraw.
quite a disappointing end, but it really wasnt that close. even if i doubled there i still only have 20 bigs on quite a tough table with a long way til the money. then another long way til the bigger money. anyway GG guys, thanks for backing me. sorry I couldnt pull out a cash.

my roll is pretty low at the moment. although ive been running really good on the 30s so i should be back at the 60s by January. Although playing on stars is giving me the shits. I hope FT comes back soon.

Going to a party tonight. Always go to this party every year, its a Hawaiian themed 'Luau', everyone has cocktails and they have the most amazing pineapple glazed christmas ham.... omfg its so good.
