Hey World domination is a bit of an overplayed term. It should just point out that I'm not only planning to make it big, but HUUUUGE

I understand everyone wants to be successful and make money and everything but you seem to have a real thing for power/feeling better than everyone. If you could explain to me why you feel like this? Maybe I am one of the 'weak/tight nits' you mention, but I just don't understand your drive and 'the powerrrrrrrr' and all this stuff. I am about to graduate from a reasonably prestigious university, and will probably end up with a pretty good job and be happy. However, I am quite envious of the drive that some people, including yourself, have. But anytime I feel motivated, I find myself asking, what is this going to achieve? I think I will be happy with an only slightly above average lifestyle.

There is nothing bad about it. Actually it's great. If you are happy with your (above avg) job than be happy about it I personally don't compare (with my peers). I think comparison means limiting to a certain extent. I don't wanna compare to anything that is out and known, I rather find out what is possible. In the end I could (and probably will) compare e.g. how did my former classmates, my former uni friends do etc. Was their line better or was mine. Not only € wise, overall happiness and lifestyle wise. I know thats not easy to compare, but w/e. Im not here to compare, Im here to challenge myself mainly and to have a sicko good time on this planet for the time being while trying to improve the quality of life (of me and others) in the longterm.

To summarise, I would like to ask two main questions.
Where do you think your drive stems from?
What happens if you eventually achieve your world domination plans?

Hard to say, probably a mixture of
a) Growing up in a family / environment surrounded by the top5% of our society (money, education, intensity of life) I have seen what is possible if one works harder than the rest. The benefits are clearly incredibly big.
b) Feeling the need to even be better than those ppl who raised me. Ergo I have to be top 3% .... that means I have to work harder than 97%.
c) I don't like being avg and doing standard things. I wanna break out as much as possible
d) Most of my drive/motivation comes from one single fact I think: The freedom of having the possibility of doing literally EVERYTHING. We could start a philosophical discussion that the one who has nothing living in the forrest is more free than I can ever be. I might not even disagree. However, for my understanding and my desires I wanna be able to to EVERYTHING anytime our planet offers during the short period of time I'm here

I look for another planet and try to dominate that one too ♦

Just for the records:

1) I Pokah. I rly like the game(s) and the challenge. I wouldn't be able to finance all my ideas without being a PokerPro. Pokah rockzzzz ♠_cool: I play almost every day and I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. I might play less but I couldn't imagine a life without it

2) I do agree that "world domination" could be interpreted negatively. I'm a nice guy, rly Doesn't mean dictatorship (well if, just a friendly one!) It just means owning many parts of the business world. Europe is my starting point, we'll see where the journey ends. Maybe under one of Vienna's bridges or maybe on another planet muhahaha Anyway, you can be sure I will try hard and will try my best not to forget that it's all about having fun

I agree, aim for world domination. Setting lower goals is stupid. If you get half way towards your goal you have achieved something incredible.

♦ funny and true, time is so short for all of us, yet most of us are totally ignorant of the fact I don't know a better representative of Time=Money equation than u are sir. Sad, Mr.Pausch's time is already over otherwise I think u 2 would make a revolutionary video series for both PS and TED on how to manage and utilize our time :).

Yet.. quite seriously.. maybe still pair up w Leatherass for this , he seems to be making a serious abt nonpoker aspects of the game also, however i think sometimes those vids lack a debate.

It's amazing how Phil is the only true idol I have atm. Ofc especially regarding Poker, but actually for his entire life approach. I will definitely follow his blog

Btw, especially after the Phil Galfond vs BFP case I was thinking I don't wanna share Phil's fate with PS ... I had these thoughts already before, but they come up more regularly now ofc.

I mean, realistically even a longtime coach, (black)member and blogger like me doesn't have (m)any rights nor any shares with PS.

In theory I think it would be best for us coaches to have an own site where we promote our coaching services and blog. Then, we sell our services to PokerSchools AND players for private coachings.

Dusty does it that way as well. http://dustyschmidt.net/ promotes his services on his own site and then sells videos to several Training Sites (including PS).

What do you guys think about that? Also, do PS freelancers need a union sooner or later? (if this has already been discussed, pls link me )

After 2011 I am obv incredibly paranoid and a few friends already told me to it that way. Sooner or later I will def talk to Tobias about it. (Ingy you don't have to do that, I will contact him myself. You just tell the bosses what we already talked about. And pls fight for the London ComboEvent )

Lately I had a few PLO HU private coaching sessions and I have to say those coachings are by far the most fun and I also think my edge in that specific game is the biggest. Def playing more HU PLO from february
